Horrendous Start To Season

The Vikings started the season off on Sunday, looking the the Vikings of '02 with a better defense. Daunte caught fumblitis again, and couldn't find is 2nd reciever. And, of course, the penalties. They took away 2 potential TDs. At least our defense performed, (especially Darren Sharper).

3 things:
1. It was the first game of the season, they did look bad, but you cant judge a team based on one game.
2. Your D did not perform. They gave up 24 points to the Bucs! They also gave up 150yds rushing to Cadillac and over 200yds passing and 2tds to Griese. Your D did not perform by any means.
3. One of the few good plays your D had was by a former Packer.

Lets just move on. Even though I a little worried about on the road against a very good Bengal football team.

Our defense did perform, if you had watched the game, you would have seen that cadillac got 70 of his yards on one play(one that didnt matter much)at the end of the game. Before that play he had 69 yards on about 23 carries. We gave up two passing TDs, but picked Griese off twice. We gave our offense plenty of chances, somthing stats can't always say. Your Favre led Packers didn't do much better.
