the FS position is up with the release of some key guys and personally i dont think we have the salary to sign any big names. But Holt has shown flashes of his talent this is a guy that was a round 1 prospect that got hurt and fell. He has shown his ablity to leap and get a good jump on the ball. I think with about 3-4 weeks starting we're looking at a perminate starter here that will give us around 4 int's a season...so that's ok with me

As for RT the mooch loves Butler...I do too...his size is uncanny just that i dont know with that size why did he fall so late to like 6th round?? I dont think he's tough enough to be a perminate starter i would swap him to LT and Baukus take RT...Our line is shaky and we will have to address it ASAP in free agency next year but we're gonna have to resign alot of guys next year so...damn we're gonna be hard pressed for some line depth.

I don't know if Holt is the answer. If he was we wouldn't be looking so hard at McQuarters. He isn't going to be looking for back up type money. We do have the money to sign him and all of our rookies too.

As far as our offensive line goes the only player we need to resign there next year is Backus and I am sure that won't be a problem. I agree with you about Butler for the most part but moving him to LT IMO would be a bad move. LT is your premier spot on the line. The RE historically has been where defenses put there best pass rusher. That is where your best blocker should be. Backus is that for us. I think in next years draft they will try and get Ferguson IF... and only if Joey pulls his head out of his ass. If we get Ferguson look for Backus to move to RT. That would be a very good line. We are very flexible. Kosier can play either Gaurd or Tackle and all of our inside guys can play Center or Gaurd. I am not really worried about our line in the future. I think we are headed in the right direction.
