Default What happens if . . .?

With both Chicago and Tampa, and Tennessee looking at taking wide outs, and Cleveland possibly taking DJ, who would Minnesota then draft at 7? Do we take the workout warrior Merriman, SC's Williamson that high, or someone else?

The needs are OLB, WR, DE and O line. The 3 players you listed are the the only ones in my opinion worthy of a #7 pick. So trade down and get the same player you want and extra picks or a another player.

Tampa will not get a WR so they don't have to worry about them, but on other hand the Dolphins have been speculated to take Braylon with their 2nd so where back to where we started...I say Merriman, he has shown he's good enough to be in the top 15, this would just be his hard work payed off

IMO, Johnson falls to 7 because the Browns take QB Aaron Rodgers. The Vikes would be stupid not to take him.

Cleveland signed Dilfer and they can pick up Frye, Campbell, Orton, or McPherson with their early 2nd or maybe third round pick. That gives them a couple of years to develop in the offense. Also, the QB class is pretty deep next year as well

I think Tice might draft Benson if Edwards, Williams and Johnson are gone. I think he wants a power running game. He's turn around and trade either or both Smith and Bennett for second or third rounders or maybe a first rounder next year.

I hope not, but its what I fear.

Vikings trade down to 13, pick Williamson, pick up a 3rd round pick and pick Demarcus Ware with the 18th

Peter King has us trading up and picking Ronnie Brown. I sure as hell hope it doesn't happen. I'm beginning to dread the draft.
