Default Big Win

Today was a big win for the Jets today. I think if they win out they will make the playoffs and winning out is not that hard. There going to need to beat the Dolphins and then they will need to beat the Raiders but i think they have a pretty good chance of making the playoffs.

We still need help from Denver, Jax and Cinci all losing at least once

Just wondering, I thought that head to head was the first tie breaker, I could be wrong, but previous weeks I saw the Jets ahead of the Jaguars in the Wild Card because of a better coference record. Was that changed or has it always been like that, and i'm just smoking something?

When there is a 3 way tie (Jets, Jags and Broncos I think it was) It's best conference record, regardless if 2 of the teams played head to head.

If its a 2 way tie (Just Jets and Jags) it would be head to head

Yea i think there is sum rule about when there is the 3 way tie that put the Jets ahead of the Jags last week.

Heres what the Jets need to get into the playoffs

1. Colts beat Bengals tonite. So next week the Bengals will play hard against the Broncos next week and probably beat them with Cutler as the QB. If the Bengals beat the Colts then it will be a lot harder for the Jets to make the playoffs because they could rest players next week against Denver and Denver could sneak away with a W plus its hard to beat the Broncos in Denver anyway.

2. They need the Jags to lose to either the Pats or KC.

3. The Jets need to win out.

A resounding THANK YOU to the Colts. This Sunday is the ONLY time I will EVER be rooting for the Patriots. If NE beats the Jaguars and the Jets win we would be in the 2nd Wild Card spot since Denver and Cinci play each other!

Yup way to go Colts. Now we need NE to beat the Jags and we got to beat the Dolphins and we will probably get in.
