Default No Excuse

There was no excuse for the loss today. Garrard threw 4 int's two of which were Matt Jones fault and he could have thrown another pick. Garrard was just lofting passes up in the begining and this game could have been real ugly for the Jaguars. Matt Jones dropped 3 balls including the two that went for the interceptions. Wilford dropped two balls, one of wich could have gone for a touchdown. Reggie Williams had two very costly penalties against him. Both of them were dumb on his part. One negated a Maurice Jones-Drew run to the 2 yard line and then the next play was an int that Garrard threw into trafic. The other negated a huge play by Cortez Hankton that would have put the Jaguars in prime position to at least tie the game. The only bright spot to the game was the defene and the offensive line. The defense did a great job of keeping the Jaguars in the game, even with all the injuries and people playing with injuries.

My thoughts for next week is that you move Wilford to the #1 WR if he isn't already, Williams is #2 and move Hankton into the #3. Put Matt Jones on the pine because he has had a record of dropping a lot of balls this year. Put Byron Leftwich as the starting QB. I don't give a rat's ass if he is only 90 percent. Leftwich knows he can play and so play him. He is better than Garrard at 100%. Uttilize Maurice Jones- Drew more often and run the ball with Taylor a lot more.

[End rant]

After the way they were playing in the beginning of the year I never would have imagined theyd lose 2 to Houston

It looks like the Jets, Jaguars, and Cheifs are going to be fighting for that last playoffs spot assuming that both the Broncos and Chargers make the playoffs and the Pats win the AFC East.

At least, for my sake, the Jaguars hold the tie breaker against the Jets and wow because if it comes down to the last game guess who plays each other. Jaguars @ Kansas City in week 17. I voted in the poll on nfl.com and I think they are totally wrong. I think that voting is just based on last weeks performance but then again who actually trusts polls like that. The Texans are the toughest team that the Jaguars play in their entire schedule this year, yes you heard me right, and has a semi decent shot at getting the last spot because the Jaguars play all teams that they could beat.
