My Jets Predictions
The Offense
Biggest Playmaker- Laverneus Coles- A very good Wr who should click with Pennington this year. A good deep threat and will go across the middle to.
Dont Forget- Chad Pennington- Dont count him out just yet. If he is healthy then he will be effective. One of the best Play Action QB's in the league.
Best FA Signing- Tim Dwight- I would probably say Trey Teague but he got hurt and will not be the starter. Dwight wont start either but i think he is a perfect fit for this offense. He also is a good punt returner.
Best Rookie- D'Brickshaw Ferguson- Ferguson should make his presence felt early.
Rookie that will make the biggest impact- Brad Smith- A QB turned Wr. I was hoping they would take a guy like this and they did. Look for him to catch the ball, run the ball, and throw the ball.
The Defense
Biggest Playmaker- Kerry Rhodes- I'm really high on him. I think he has the potential to be one of the best Strong Safties in the league.
Best Defensive Player- Johnathan Vilma- He is already one of the best MLB in the league and i think he will shine in a 3-4 defense.
Dont Forget- Shaun Ellis- Ellis is a beast. In my opinion he was better then Abraham when he was here. Ellis is a good pass rusher and is good against the run also.
Biggest FA Signing- Kimo Von Olhoffen- Kimo has played in a 3-4 before and should be solid for the Jets this year. Runner up- Andre Dyson.
Best Rookie- Anthony Schlegal- Schlegal was a good pick in the draft. He doesnt have much speed but he can stuff the run.
Rookie that will make the biggest Impact- Anthony Schlegal- I dont really think any rookie will make a big impact for the Jets on Defense but if i had to pick one it would be Schlegal.
Record for the Jets this year- 5-11. They have no running game and that will kill them this year.

Don't underestimate Barlow. I think he's a good option. Here's to hoping Martin realizes he's had an great career and hangs them up.

I think Barlow is ok but he is just a guy who will be here for one year and then will be gone. He's an average back at best. If i were the Jets i would have just let Cedric Houston and Leon Washington be my RB's and see what you got there. Its not like Barlow was going to bring them to the playoffs or anything all he does is give them a guy with starting experience who has had some sucess.

Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of Houston, but knowing Barlow is starter material, I think it was a good move at least until Washington can prove he can own the job on his own. I bet Barlow will make you a fan before you know it.

I like Blaylock more than Barlow. I think he could put up better numbers.

Yeah i'm not a big Barlow fan. I think he is a decent back but its not like were going anywhere this year. We should have just let Houston, Washington, and Blaylock split time in the back field.

Too bad the previous regime didn't tie up Lamont Jordan or dive deep enough to get Reggie Bush.

I agree with Jordan. And if we had just lost 1 more game we'd have had the #2 pick and gotten Reggie
