Default Is anyone else quietly impressed by the Jags and Panthers?

I've liked all their signings so far. Nothing flashy or too risky, and all building on strength.

Like the Panthers pick ups but they need a WR, maybe Eric Moulds after the bills release him. It doesn't matter who just somebody to compete with Colbert and Carter, eliminating the need for a WR in the first.

i think its very possible that Keyshawn Johnson could be in Carolina. He would be a nice complement to Steve Smith.....

I would be impressed if the jags get Arrington. They need to fill that linebacker spot since Ayodele left for the cowboys.

The jags will probably fill that spot in the draft.

updated rumors have it taht the jags and arrington have agreed in principle to a deal with an approved number of years....however, lavar wants the money to be distrbuted differently so that he gets more money in the first two years of the contract rather then in the last couple as the contract is now set up...

I like the Panthers they are an early favorite for the Super Bowl in the NFC

The Jags may be a piece or two away from being a Super Bowl contender right now... They need help in the secondary, but Arrington would significantly improve their defense.

I've been impressed with the Bengals. Went out and signed veteren players to fill their voids.. Reminds me of how Ron Wolf handled the Packers in the mid 90's.

How can you say you're impressed with them with the exception of the Dexter Jackson signing, they've only made 3 signings to date: Jackson, Chatman, and Adams are the only non Bengal FA's that have been brought in, hence they're basically the same team. With 2 major exceptions they don't have a TE or a qualified backup for Palmer. I don't think their moves have increased their wins as of yet. And add to that they currently have the second strongest schedule to play this year = Car/NE/DEN/KC/TAM/INDY/ATL/SD and Pitt twice. LAST YEAR the bengals beat only 2 playoff teams CHI when they were bad, and PITT when Roethlisberger was injured....this year could be very different. Right now I give them a 9-7 and the wildcard...but that's only if Palmer is truly healthy.

Who-Dey!

***Note*** Look for the Bengals to either go DE or TE in the first round. They'd likely take the best defensive player available, if Pope and let's say Kiwi aren't there.

Edit: I wouldn't even rule out an OT or Mangold since they are going to have alot of offensive line problems next year if they don't start resigning them.
