Vick to Oakland?

Rumor has it that Michael Vick could be shopped to the Raiders for the first overall pick. This sounds strange, but so did Champ Bailey for Clinton Portis (some people think big name trades are too unlikely to happen). However, with Jim Mora gone, Atlanta could be looking in entirely new direction on offense (keeping Matt Shaub). Oakland has been known for bringing in other teams' unwanted baggage, so the deal is certainly a possibility. If this goes down, Atlanta would possibly add their number 10 pick and Oakland would add Jerry Porter to even things out (Michael Vick is not worth the number 1 pick). As terrible as the Raiders are, people will still come to see Michael Vick and Randy Moss together, even if they do get destroyed.

Isn't Mike Vick underrated?

I do agree though. Bad move by the Raiders and it won't happen.

However this would be great for the Falcons. This would put them in position to give Schaub the go and they could draft Calvin Johnson #1 overall.

IF I was the Raiders I would not want Mike Vick...I would take Russell with the first pick that guy is goign to be way better than Vick.

Would probably be the only way Al Davis unload those PSLs. Honestly, I don't think it would be a terrible deal at all, except I wouldn't be willing to give up the 1st overall pick.

I don't think Vick to Oakland is such a bad play. I think it's actually good for both teams. Like someone mentioned before, Atlanta could pick up a much needed Calvin Johnson and Vick will go to a team with a bad O-line and be forced to run and throw on the run. Vick is definitely not worth a #1 pick but I don't think it's impossible to work out a deal. I would like to see Vick in Miami along with Mariucci as coach but that wont happen.
