Drew Brees
Brees looked horrible yesterday. Not only did he look horrible but all their recievers looked horrible. This could be a disaster.
Since i play in a 2 QB per week league, I drafted Brees in the 2nd round... Maroney in the 1st. I passed on Rudi because i feel Maroney could be huge, but he could also bust if he gets the injury bug again. I passed on Palmer because he is my QB in another league, and i didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket.
I know this is only the first game, but what i saw last night has me shaking in my boots. If Maroney puts up a dud this weekend, i will be one unhappy camper.
Should i be worried?

Dont worry, shit happens. It wasn't so much Brees but the Indy defense whom (not only) the Saints hadn't expected to play that well. He'll rebound, as will his team. New game plan, new fun!

Yea, i am not going to go do something crazy and trade him for Rex Grossman, but last night was set up for a shootout, and all New Orleans did was get shot.
wow.....my anger has turned violent...lol...
I also just heard that Terry Glenn may be out for the year. Any other year that would send me clapping for joy. But this year i have summoned myself to the fantasy demons, sacrificed my NFC East Green, and drafted Romo. As i said, we play 2 QB's, and he was one of the few good qb's available (mid rounds), but the only one with a stud WR. This could mean quadruple coverage on TO, and less points for Romo.
Thats what i get for making deals with the devil.

I wouldnt worry too much about the Glenn-Romo thing. I like Patrick Crayton a lot and I think he'll step up big in the #2 spot

Glad I didn't draft him! Actually, I'm sure he'll do better as the year progresses.

Yeh good luck with that, you better hope the guy with Brady or BRees doesn;t understand Football much, THe NYG's pass D is pathetic, the one decent part of their pass D is Strahan who played sparingly last night, ROmo had a great game yes, but he had a great game on thanksgiving last year as well and then had a bunch of mediocre games. Plus Brady had an aweseome week himself. If you can pulloff a romo for Brees from a stupid panicky after one bad week Brees owner, more power to ya, but Brees didn't really start that fast last year either, He will be just fine and be a top 5 fantasyQb (Brees that is)
