Well heres a more in-depth look at why I like Driver over Reggie Brown in week one. Reggie Brown has bee na "tease" since coming into the league and is always "on the cusp" of breaking out as a top fantasy Wr but hen never does. He was on everyone's list to "break-out" last year and had a WHOPPING 780 yards (48/game) and 4 whole TD's. Granted Driver had a dissappointing season fantasy-wise last year as well, but that was due to the fact he was the only "sure thing" in the Packers passing game on other's team's scouting reports and saw defenses schemed to shut-him down up until Greg Jennings and James Jones emerged. With the the injury to Kevin Curtis it makes Reggie Brown the #1 Wr in Philly, so the combo of that fact and the fact that McNabb tends to spread the ball around in the passing game so much and the fact that they try and get Westbrook as many touches as possible i don't see Reggie Brown having a very big week in week one.
Now my take on Driver week one. Greg Jennings did emerge as the Packers "big play guy" last season alot of that had to do with teams so focueed on covering Driver in the first half of the season. Now the league knows about Greg Jennings and can not concentrate all their coverage on Driver. Two Jennings barely played this pre-season and Driver played the whole pre-season and Rodgers has seemed to form a connection with Driver. Also, you almost can-not run the ball vs Minny and with Rodgers makiing his first start you now the Min Def is going to make the Packers beat them with the pass which raises the opportunity for touches for Driver.
These are the reasons i like Driver over Reggie Brown in week 1
