Big Ben: The first rookie SB winner
Can a rookie win a Super Bowl? No, you say. Can a rookie lead
the NFL in QB ratting? You probably thought no, before this season.
If Big Ben can be a top QB, why can't he win a Super Bowl?

Pittsburgh has a great running game, a D that held NE to 5 total
rushing yards earlier this season (granted they were without Dillon),
and a great QB.

There's a lot of misconceptions about Brady and Big Ben that I will
attempt to clear up for you.
Misconceptions
#1. Brady is a winner, and he wins the close games.
Not true. Remember vs Miami how well he handled himself. He
handed them the game with that horrible pick. What does he do
when he tries to come back in the final drive? Another pick.
I now submit to you Brady's 4th qrt stats compared to Big Ben's.
********** ********** *Roethlisberger******&nbs p;*********&nbs p;********Brady
comp %********** ;*76.9% (1st in NFL)*********&n bsp;*54.4% (20th)
QB ratting******* 118.5 (1st)*********& nbsp;*********& nbsp;72.3 (not even top 20)
TD-INT********* ****4-1*****&nb sp;*********&nb sp;*********&nb sp;*******5-1
yds/att********* ;****9.17*****& nbsp;*********& nbsp;*********& nbsp;*****7.27
comebacks******* 2********** ;********** ;********** ;***** 0
2. Ben Roethlisberger just isn't a great QB at this point in his career.
Is Donovan McNabb a great QB? Is Daunte Culpepper a great QB?
Drew Brees? You might be surprised to know that Big Ben's yards-
per-attemp is larger than all of these guys. He just doesn't throw as
much as they do. Here is how he stacks up against some other great
QBs:
P. Manning-9.19
Roethlisberger-8.88
Culpepper-8.77
McNabb-8.26
Brees-7.90
Brady-7.81
3. Roethlisberger can't throw a lot of passes, which he will have to do
if they get behind.
True, the Steelers don't pass a lot, but in a few games they have had
to throw a lot. Against the Giants, Big Ben threw 28 times and
completed 18 for 316 yards. In fact Ben thrives the more they throw.
He has completed 88.5% of his passes numbered 20-30 in a game.
Ben Roethlisberger will move the ball down the field, throw some
TD passes, and Jerome Bettis who is in the top ten for TD% within 10
and 3 yards will also punch some in. Staley and other injured will get
rested up in the next three weeks, and the Steelers will win it all.</

I'd say after seeing the Steelers march through the playoffs and win a SB behind Big Ben; he was right on track. It doesn't hurt that I graduated from Miami either.
