Good news Michigan fans
You don't have to worry about being on the receiving end of the biggest upset in college football history any longer. That distinction belongs to USC.
Stanford just upset the Trojans, 24-23. I know the argument is that App. St. is a FCS team, but they are at least familiar with winning. They're back to back national champs at that level.
Stanford was 1-11 last season. They haven't had a winning season since Tyrone Willingham was their coach. This is a bigger upset than App. St. over Michigan.
Congrats to Jim Harbaugh, another reason Michigan fans should enjoy this win. Harbaugh has always been gutsy, but this coaching performance was the gutsiest of his career. I loved his actions postgame as well. He refused to be interviewed by the television networks or anyone else until they had talked to his quarterback first. He actually ran from them and screamed at them to talk to Tavita Pittman. Afterwards, Harbaugh gave all the credit to his players.
Awesome!
