Bowl Games
What BCS and non BCS bowl game are you looking forward to the most?
Non-BCS: Capitol One Bowl - Probably going to be a popular pick but I like this match-up. I like to watch Arkansas and McFadden is a great running back. I like what he brings to the football team. This game also gives us the answer of, Id Wisconsin for real and are they #6 worthy? Should be a fun game to watch.
BCS - Championship - This is probably an obvious pick for me because my team is playing in it and I get to hear my mom yell at the TV, fun! (sigh) I think Michigan should be here but since Florida is facing us now, I hope we can blow them out of the water, no pun intended, and shut Urban Meyer, because I think had Urban Meyer not bitched about the BCS we would be facing Michigan again. Also looking forward to the Rose Bowl.

Capital One Bowl - Obvious reasons but I like the matchup for Wisconsin. Their a physical football team and Arkansas has trouble against physical teams. (LSU and Florida for example)
BCS - Michigan vs. USC - Classic Rose Bowl matchup that has a lot of future NFL talent playing in it.

Capital One Bowl - I am looking forward to seeing a good Wisconsin team against McFadden and the Hogs...should be a good game.
Rose Bowl - Obviously...I hope Michigan can lay a whooping on them too...John David Booty meets the Michigan D. also the Nat'l Championship too...I hope OSU beats them bad to prove Michigan should be in there

I think there's little doubt that the Capital One Bowl is the best matchup of the non-BCS bowl games. I think Wisconsin holds a slight edge on Arkansas because of better QB play and a much better kicking game which will come into play in this game. I expect it to be decided by 3 points or less.
I'm also looking forward to the Holiday Bowl. Cal and A&M match up well with each other and I think it will be a very good game. I give A&M the slight edge though because Cal's run defense has been so bad.
I'm looking forward to Va. Tech and Georgia too.
None of those games compare to the Arkansas/Wisconsin game though.
For the BCS, I think it's obvious that USC/Michigan and Ohio St./Florida are the two best matchups. I think OU will blowout Boise St. I think Louisville will beat Wake fairly easily. I also think LSU will win by double digits over Notre Dame. USC/Michigan is a great Rose Bowl matchup with, like Porky said, a lot of future NFL talent involved. I think Michigan's defense will be too much for the Trojans.
I also like Ohio St. in the BCS championship, but it will be decided by one score or less. Florida just won't let it get that out of hand. Troy Smith is a big game performer. Chris Leak hasn't always been great in big games.
You guys should check out my sportsblog (link in my sig). I just finished a bowl preview blog that previews all of the bowl games except for the BCS ones. I'm going to do all the BCS games in a seperate blog to be seen very soon.
Also, bdc02...I love the Ryan Mallett sig...He was killing in the Texas high school playoffs up until 2 weeks ago when they just barely lost. He goes to a high school called Texas High...I would love to say I go to THE High School of Texas. Just hope he stays committed to Michigan. He's given them a verbal but word is that Notre Dame and OU are making a big push for him with both schools able to offer him a chance to earn the starting spot next season.

i havent hear they were going after him...i think he stays committed cuz Clausen is going to ND and Keith Nichol of Michigan just committed to OU so idk...I hope he stays committed tho he could start as a Redshirt Freshman if he doesn redshirt...if not a Sophmore starter is very good accomplishment too also.

Major rule of college recruiting...never be satisfied with who you have with a verbal agreement. Verbals are changed by over half of those who make them early. The Irish and Sooners will not close all forms of communication with Mallett until they have it in ink that they are getting who they're getting.

Another issue you have is that Mallett is rated much higher than Nichol...OU would definitely take him too...

I cant believe what a stinker Michigan laid. This team really thought they should have been in the National Title game, and here they get demolished by USC, who lost to UCLA. Nothing against USC, they're a very good team and played an outstanding game, but man if you get snubbed for the National Title game you better go out and prove that you deserved to be in there.
Congratulations to Penn State and Joe Pa
Auburn played terrible offensively, but their D and ST came up huge
In a game featuring Darren McFadden and PJ Hill, who would have thought Arkansas Felix Jone's would be the big producer in the running game? Congrats to Wisconsin for finally beating a ranked team lol even though their 1 loss was to Michigan
Calvin Johnson is a f***ing beast!!! Anyway, congrats to WVU for finding a way to win without Steve Slaton.

Wisconsin deserves some National Respect now. They beat an Elite Team in the SEC for 2 years in a roll. They have 16 returning starts most were freshmen and sophomores. They have a solid recruiting class coming in as well. Tyler Donovan probably is a better passer than Stocco as well.
IMO Michigan and Wisconsin will be 1 and 2 in the Big Ten next year.
