Default Jevan Snead and Matt Flynn to leave

Snead to transfer from Texas and Flynn to transfer from LSU.

Other big news, OU steal 5th ranked dual QB Keith Nichol from Michigan State.

It'll be interesting to see where Snead goes...He picked Texas over A&M, Florida, and Oklahoma St. I think Florida, who he originally committed to verbally before signing with Texas, is out of the question with Tebow in place. He could go and back up Stephen McGee for two years at A&M. It also doesn't seem that Mike Gundy isn't completely happy with Bobby Reid at QB in Oklahoma St for whatever reason.

I dunno, but if I'm Bob Stoops and I'm really needing a QB right now...I'm looking at stealing Snead even if he has to sit out a year.

I love Snead but I'm not sure Stoops would be looking for another QB.

They just recruited Nichol. They recruited Austin Box, who QB's for a local high school, to play OLB. They got Halzle from junior college. They recruited the local standout Sam Bradford last year.

Snead officially signed with Ole Miss yesterday and will join the team in the spring...That puts the top 3 QBs of the 2006 recruiting class (Snead, Matt Stafford, Mitch Mustain) all in the SEC. Ole Miss also added a highly regarded WR recruit for Snead to throw to in Roderick Davis. Davis was ranked 16th by ESPN's recruiting insider and is considered one of the top 100 high school recruits in the country.
