#14 is about right. Most polls have them in that 10 to 15 range.

Maybe its because I think they are better than that. After they play the Vols, people will see they are for real.

Is Longshore going to be the starting QB for them this season? He's got a good arm, but he's battled a lot of injuries so there's definitely some questions there especially since Ayoob wasn't that impressive last season. I like Cal too, but I'm unsure about their defense. Although, I do like Mebane, Worrell Williams, and Anthony Felder is really overlooked on the team. I'm not big on their pass defense tho and that's not something you want to be unsure of in the Pac-10. I know Daymeion Hughes might end up being the top CB prospect in next years draft, although I personally like Leon Hall out of Michigan better , but you can scheme around CBs. There's inexperience on the other side of him and great passing attacks like they'll face from USC and Arizona St. will be able to pick them apart.

Longshore is the starter. I think they announced it today or yesterday. I'm not an Aboob fan, but he can play when he's not screwing up. I'm mostly about Marshawn Lynch though. He's going to have a great year.

Lynch has a good chance to lead the nation in rushing but he alone isn't enough for me to put them in the top 10. Top 15 team is what I see them as. I think Cal potentially could be one of the top rushing teams in the country if they run the ball.

He's got the talent that's for sure...I'm iffy on their OL especially with Callaghan gone. However, in the college game, you don't have to have a great OL to be a great RB.
