Default Sam Keller to Nebraska...

Nebraska is already favored to be the North representatives in the Big 12 this season thanks to QB Zac Taylor. However, Bill Callahan will probably have an even better QB next season in Sam Keller. Keller transfered to Nebraska after Rudy Carpenter beat him out for the starting job at Arizona St. Keller was having a great season before being injured last season. Unfortunately, Carpenter pulled a Tom Brady on Keller and put up even more magnificent numbers to force a QB battle this spring. Keller was number one up until the end of two-a-days when Coach Koetter decided to go with Carpenter who is only a sophomore.

Keller will be a great fit for Nebraska next season. I think Nebraska is starting to rise from the dead.

I actually live in Nebraska, and people are pumped. We are getting a great athlete in Sam Kellar, and as Porky said we are starting to rise from the dead. Watch out USC cause the Big Red is ready to fight. But the big ordeal is that Nebraska already has a promising quaterback in Zac Taylor so it should be fun to see who wins it out.

There will be no QB battle. Taylor will start this year, his senior year, and move on. Keller has to sit out a year due to the transfer. He will redshirt this year actually. He will then have one year of eligibility next season when he takes the reins of the Cornhusker offense. I have to say...as a Colorado fan...I'm not pumped about this at all.

Awesome pick up for Nebraska after their #1 recruit this year bailed on them. That being QB Harrison Beck.
