RB Marshawn Lynch
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Kenny Irons

LB Paul Pozlusny

I think it will come down to Brady vs. Peterson...you pick the winner.

Pozlusny has very little shot considering Charles Woodson is the only defensive player ever to win the Heisman and he played both ways in college.

I also like Calvin Johnson as a pro prospect but he has no QB on the roster to get him the ball. He'll go first team All ACC but won't be invited to New York.

I like

1. Adrian Peterson (Peterson is my pick to take the Heisman)
2. Brady Quinn (Quinn is my runner up)
3. Pat White
4. Kenny Irons
5. Steve Slayton

All those guys you named are exception Draft prospects but some of them are going to have trouble winning the Heisman. Jarrett, Johnson and Poslunzy to be exact.

Very hard for a WR and LB to win a Heisman. No LB has ever won a Heisman.

You put down great Draft prospects but you put down some Heisman canidates that have very little shot.

I'll agree with you on the Linebacker, i was putting him in there as an extremely long shot. I think it is possible for one of those WR's to win though.

1. Kenny Irons - I think NC so best player on the NC's
2. Brady Quinn-If he can get some protection he will put up BIGGER numbers this year
3. Troy Smith- He has that big play ability especially with those recievers, that Heismans are made of.
4. Adrian Peterson- Will have a spectacular year, but i believe that oklahoma can lose 4-5 games this year hurts his chances.
5. Jordan Palmer- Low competition plus talent = big numbers and the 5th chair in New York, ala Pennington.

I agree Wide outs and Defense don't get the Heisman not enough influence or highlights to make an impression.

not with the questions at QB especially for Johnson.

Larry Fitzgerald didn't win the Heisman and had monster numbers. Jarrett and Johnson won't put up the numbers he did. Jarrett plays in an offense that spreads the football. Johnson doesn't have the QB

For a WR to win the Heisman then they need to be an incredible KR as well. Check the history of WRs who have won the Heisman. Which only two ever have....Tim Brown and Desmond Howard. Both were phenomenal KR's. If you want to count Charles Woodson as a WR then the same thing is said about him....he was a great KR.
