Ohio St. is going to be the popular pick. I would like to pick Auburn, but it's hard to say a team from the SEC is going to come out of that conference without a loss or two. Same goes with LSU. West Virginia will be the most popular sleeper pick. They play in a weaker conference again too. For the first time in a long time, Notre Dame has to be considered highly with Quinn back. OU could shine with Bomar looking better and Peterson being healthy. However, as of right now, I'm taking Florida State.

I got to see West Virginia's spring game. They looked very impressive. I think they can play with anybody.
It's a tough call though. Ohio State lost a lot of key players on defense. FSU did as well and I'm not a Weatherford fan. I thought Xaiver Lee was the better player but he's transfered out of there I believe.
LSU has a lot of talent. They might be the favorite.

It is also true that LSU lost some talent. They lost Kyle Williams and Claude Wroten. However, they did not take heavy losses so it seems very possible that they could win.

Notre Dame
OSU lost 3 starting LB's, their starting C and their #1 WR. Ginn should break out and Smith is great, but their defense won't be great enough to keep them undefeated.

It may be biased by I like Michigan...
Henne, Hart, Breaston and Manninham are coming back along with Leon Hart, Alan Branch and LaMarr Woodley on D...Some freshman like Brandon Graham should make immediate impact.

I seriously said to myself once i saw your name as a post in this... he's gonna pick Michigan. I seriously don't like them to win. Hart gets hurt too often and Henne is too inconsistent at times.

lol...what can I say I'm confidant in my team.
Henne had a sophomore slump he'll be better and Hart just had a nagging hamstring injury last year...I dont think that will happen to him next year but you cant predict injuries.

Michigan doesn't have the team built to win a National Title. They'll be very good though. I think there a 10 win team. 10-2 is what I would guess them at. Ohio State vs Michigan will be a BCS deciding game this year pending injuries.
I think there are 3 teams that I like to take it all...
Notre Dame, LSU, and West Virginia.
I don't consider West Virginia a sleeper. Not only did they take the Big East last year but they beat Georgia the SEC Champs in the Sugar Bowl. I think that gives them the respect of other coaches etc... In fact I would be one to bet they're ranked in the top 5 to start the season out.

I call them a sleeper because in the minds of many fans and even media members, they're still an afterthought. They'll get sleeper acclaim. They should go unbeaten in the Big East again just because it's such a weak conference. Louisville will be their only challenge.
