Default My Mock Draft

Team - Player | Description

1.
Houston Texans - Ferguson, D'Brickashaw, OT Virginia | David Carr could be a great QB but we'll never know if he gets sacked every play.
2. Tennessee Titans - Leinart, Matt, QB USC | With the aging of Steve McNair the Titans will need a QB and why not take a proven winner.
3. New York Jets - Bush, Reggie, RB USC | Curtis Martin is not at the top of his game and the Jets should take the best player in the draft.
4. Arizona Cardinals - Hawk, A.J., OLB Ohio St. | Hawk is a tackling machine who would immediately contribute to Arizona's D.
5. San Francisco 49ers - Kiwanuka, Mathias, DE Boston College | Lets face it the 49ers need about every position except QB. They have a horrid defense and need to put pressure on the QB.
6. Baltimore Ravens - Justice, Winston, OT USC | Justice would be a great compliment to the running game opposite Jon Ogden.
7. New Orleans Saints - McNeill, Marcus, OT Auburn | McNeil is an outstanding lineman and would be with Jamaal Brown, a relief to Aaron Brooks.
8. Green Bay Packers - Williams, Jimmy, CB Virginia Tech | The Pack need a CB to replace the flag machine Ahmad Carrol. Williams is a shutdown corner with great potiental.
9. Miami Dolphins - Other, Put name in explanation -> | Robinson, Michael, QB Penn St. The dolpins addressed the RB position last year and need a QB. Robinson doesn't have much experience, but did lead the resurgance of Penn St.
10. Cleveland Browns - Hali, Tamba, DE Penn St. | Hali is a prolific pass rusher who ripped apart defenses and would help Cleveland's struggling defense.
11. Oakland Raiders - Brooks, Ahmad, ILB Virginia | After losing Napoleon Harris the Raiders will need someone to fill the gap.
12. St. Louis Rams - Hester, Devin, CB Miami (FL) | Hester is an exceptional athlete who would relieve some of the Rams woes against the passing game.
13. Buffalo Bills - Jean-Gilles, Max, OG Georgia | Buffalo has a great D and Max could help anchor the running attack featuring Willis McGahee.
14. Detriot Lions - Hagan, Derek, WR Arizona St. | JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They should really take Chris Leak QB Florida to replac Joey Harrington who had many chances and is done.
15. Minnesota Vikings - White, LenDale, RB USC | Minnesota either needs to give Michael Bennett more playing time or draft LenDale. Since Bennett won't see much time, they should draft White.
16. Philadelphia Eagles - Hagan, Derek, WR Arizona St. | T.O. won't be back next season and will need to be replaced. Draft Hagan, who has great potiential.
17. Kansas City Chiefs - Greenway, Chad, OLB Iowa | Greenway would improve the Chiefs D and go great opposite Derrick Johnson.
18. New England Patriots - Zemaitis, Alan, CB Penn St. | Patriots corners can't stay healthy, so draft Zemaitis who have a combination of size and speed.
19. Denver Broncos - Nance, Martin, WR Miami (OH) | Rod Smith will retire and Denver will need a reciever. Nance has great size. Plummer and Him will connect for many scores.
20. San Diego Chargers - Winston, Eric, OT Miami (FL) | Winston would help LaDanian Tomlinson run for 1,500+ yards for many years to come.

21.
Jacksonville Jaguars - Williams, DeAngelo, RB Memphis | DeAngelo is a great back who whould relieve stress from the aging Fred Taylor and Greg Jones.
22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Scott, Jonathan, OT Texas | After drafting Cadillac Williams, how about helping him out and drafting a great tackle.
23. Chicago Bears - Avant, Jason, WR Michigan | Kyle Orton seems to be progressing, they have a great defense, and Muhammad needs some pressure taken off of him, therefore Avant is a great pick.
24. New York Giants - Ngata, Haloti, DT Oregon | Strahan can't carry the whole load and needs help. Ngata would give that help and do much more.
25. Atlanta Falcons - Smith, Steve, WR USC | Roddy White wasn't the greatest pick last year and Mike Vick needs someone besides Alge Crumpler to go to. Smith could develop into a reciever with the same name as him.
26. Dallas Cowboys - Williams, Mario, DE North Carolina St | Cowboys would have a dominating line with Williams, Spears, and Glover. Williams is a great rusher who whould help the secondary by putting pressure on the QB.
27. Seattle Seahawks - Jackson, Chad, WR Florida | Seahawks need a dependable reciever and Jackson gives you exactly that.
28. Carolina Panthers - Maroney, Laurence, RB Minnesota | Stephen Davis is a short yardage back and DeShaun Foster hasn't recovered from his injury. Maroney would be a good fit in Carolina.
29. Cincinatti Bengals - Wright, Rodrique, DT Texas | Wright is a great run stopper. He is a big guy who would stop opposing teams running games.
30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Moore, DonTrell, RB New Mexico | Bettis and Staley are not productive anymore and need to be replaced. Moore could be a sleeper of the draft.
31. Denver Broncos - Watson, Gabe, DT Michigan | This pick would suprise a lot of people, but at least it's better than 3 former Browns lineman.
32. Indianapolis Colts - Gordon, Charles, CB Kansas | They drafted a good corner in Jackson last year and should pair him up with a great playmaker. This whould improve their improved defense.

Who should it be? Leinart or Bush. Who will it be? Ferguson if Houston keeps the pick and decides to dish out 8 million to Carr for another couple of seasons.

Leak isn't a first rounder. He probably isnt' a second rouner. He is 5-11 which is insanely small to play QB in the NFL. The only sucessful QB under 6-0 in recent years has been Doug Flutie and he played in Canada for a while before getting a shot in the pros.

I think Chris Leak can improve and become a very good passer. Who would you have instead?

Omar Jacobs is ahead of Leak and Michael Robinson on every draft board. That might be a bit of a reach for him though at pick 14 or 9.

Leak is too small and isn't built for the NFL. He'll go in the second round at best.

Robinson won't even enter the draft as a QB. He'll probably move to WR like Randel El did upon entering a few years back.

Top QB's

1. Matt Leinart
2. Vince Young
3. Brady Quinn
4. Omar Jacobs

That's the Fab 4 right now and there is a good chance Quinn and Young don't enter which would make Jacobs' stock go up more.

As for Bust that's anyones guess. Ben Roelisberger and Chad Pennington played in the MAC as well so it's not un common too see Mac QB's in the NFL.

Before the season started Jabobs was said too already be a lock to enter. I honestly think he depends on what Young and Quinn does. If Young and Quinn don't enter like many are speculating then Jacobs probably will or at least should because his draft stock would go up.

Since Young and Quinn will most likely stay, who would you have on that board instead?

I don't understand why people think Detroit will draft a QB. Give DanO a chance.
