Default 2006 mock draft(tell me what you think)

2006 NFL MOCK DRAFT
There is a Titans/49ers trade and I made up my own draft order which I think is pretty close.

1.Houston Texans
- Ferguson, D'Brickashaw, OT Virginia | If they stay here this pick is a no brainer. Best O-Line prospect since Orlando Pace.
2. Tennessee(via San fransisco) - Leinart, Matt, QB USC | Titans trade their 1st,2nd,and next years 3rd round picks to 49ers for their #2 pick
3. Green Bay Packers - Kiwanuka, Mathias, DE Boston College | Could pick any position on defense for this pick. Kiwanuka deserves it the most because of his rare ability in every physical category.
4. Cleveland Browns - Williams, Mario, DE North Carolina St | The most physically gifted athlete in the draft. Has very good pass-rush skills and technique.
5. Arizona Cardinals - Hawk, A.J., OLB Ohio St. | They'll jump all over Hawk and then all over Leak in the 2nd round
6. San Fransisco 49ers(via Tennessee) - Bush, Reggie, RB USC | Biggest steal of draft at #6
7. New Orleans Saints - Brooks, Ahmad, ILB Virginia | Ray Lewis type player who is a tackeling machine.
8. New York Jets - Williams, DeAngelo, RB Memphis | Martin has a couple years left in his tank so why not let him mentor his replacement
9. Carolina Panthers - Lewis, Marcedes, TE UCLA | Kind of high but Delhomme is a short yardage passer and Lewis will not be underused like he was at UCLA.
10. Miami Dolphins - Jacobs, Omar, QB Bowling Green | They have good recievers that Jacobs never had so he will make a running for rookie of the year.
11. Chicago Bears - Greenway, Chad, OLB Iowa | They fix a gaping hole picking Greenway. Urlacher was always better when he had good players beside him and Greenway could be even better then him.
12. Oakland Raiders - Ngata, Haloti, DT Oregon | They have an old D-Line and Haloti has potential through the roof. Great strength aand good speed.
13. Denver(via Washington) - Young, Vincent, QB Texas | 1 Longhorn I dont know if he will make an impact in the NFL but he's worth a pick this high.
14. Baltimore Ravens - Wright, Rodrique, DT Texas | 2 Longhorns A run stuffer with good rush skills for a DT. Strong, smart, and he's one of the more experienced players in college.
15. Dallas Cowboys - Scott, Jonathan, OT Texas | 3 Longhorns Will be between good and great in the NFL and the cowboys tackle positions will be set for the next 5 years or so.
16. Buffalo Bills - Eslinger, Greg, C Minnesota | Could play G/C. Could have been the Co MVP with Maroney. Special talent for a guard.
17. Detroit Lions - Bing, Darnell, S USC | They'll grab Drew Stanton in the second round
18. San Diego Chargers - Winston, Eric, OT Miami (FL) | A steal at #18. He's just a strong and aggresive football player.
19. St Louis Rams - Williams, Jimmy, CB Virginia Tech | Williams hits hard and is a shut down corner.
20. Denver Broncos - Lawson, Manny, DE North Carolina St. | Underrated because of Williams on the other side but would be a upgrade over any ex-Browns players
21.
Minnesota Vikings - Huff, Michael, S Texas | Both of their safties are goin up in years so a player like Huff could make an impact in a year or two
22. Jacksonville Jaguars - Gordon, Charles, CB Kansas | Perfect fit for Jaguars. He's raw and has lots of potential.
23. Seattle Seahawks - Havner, Spencer, OLB UCLA | He's underrated but teams will start to notice his smarts by the time the college season is over.
24. Cincinnati Bengals - Watson, Gabe, DT Michigan | If Watson has a strong season this pick is his. Thick body and very competetive. Plays angry.
25. New York Giants - Holmes, Santonio, WR Ohio St. | This is a "future" pick that will have mjor dividends. Manning needs a confident and consistent WR
26. Kansas City Chiefs - Hagan, Derek, WR Arizona St. | Easily could have gone in top 15 but none of the teams needed him.
27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - McNeill, Marcus, OT Auburn | yes I know, He wont drop this far but I believe he will get picked by the Bucs by trading up or if the Bucs end up with a top 20 pick.
28. Indianapolis Colts - Jean-Gilles, Max, OG Georgia | Hasn't anyone noticed that their O-Line has a lot of flaws. The defense has improved and Manning and James could use a solid Guard.
29. Atlanta Falcons - Trueblood, Jeremy, OT Boston College | On the small side but plays with an edge. He has great technique and his pass protection is very good.
30. New England Patriots - Howard, Thomas, OLB UTEP | Very good talent and has the flexibility to play the inside position like he most likely will with the Pats.
31. Philidelphia Eagles - Watkins, Todd, WR BYU | Would make a very solid #3 WR. Runs precise routes and have good hands. A Peter Warrick type player.
32. Pittsburgh Steelers - Blackmon, Will, CB Boston College | Potential to be a good #2 corner and an even better special teams player.

Pretty Decent mock. I liked most of the pick like Bush to 49ers, Ferguson to Texans, Jacobs to Miami, and my favorite pick was Lewis to Panthers he is forgotten by people because he plays for a college that is just average and he plays TE position. The one thing i couldn't believe when i saw it was the spot you have the pack in. I mean they aren't very go but i mean favre has never and will never have that bad of a season. But if they are that bad i like the pick A LOT!!!!!!!!!!! They are just my opinions and I'm not very good at mocks so don't take them seriously (i am ktpackerfan).[/quote]

Well Green Bays defense isn't as bad as most thing especially at DE so I would think they go DT with Wright or LB with Hawk if they pick that high or trade out of it.
Marcedes Lewis is way to high. He won't go top 10. I have him around 15-32.
Greg Esslinger is way to high as well. He'll be a late first round pick at best. Probably a 2nd rounder though.
Manny Lawson is a bit of a reach. I have him going in the 2nd round. Top 25. I don't think so.
Same with Michael Huff. LaRon Landry would go before him at that spot. Huff is probably a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
Jimmy Williams should go top 15. He's the best DB in the draft.
Spencer Havner isn't going to go 1st round at ALL. With Abdul Hodge on the board especially. He's a late 2nd to 3rd round pick.
Gabe overrated Watson is slipping a lot. He's been benched and is lazy. I wouldn't bet on him in the first round.
Derek Hagan would never go top 15. Horrible draft for WR's this year. Wait til next season. He's about right where you have him.
Will Blackmon has moved to WR now and probably won't go in the first 2 rounds.
Todd Watkins is a little high with Jason Avant and Chad Jackson on the board yet.
Howard Thomas is to high as well. No way he goes before Hodge or even Carpenter.
Jermey Trueblood won't go first round either. Second probably. It'a pretty deep draft at tackle.
All in all much you as well need to do more homework. I personall don't like it to much but you got nothing wrong with your top 10 outside of Lewis. Just do more homework and it'll get a lot better.

yeah i know, i had alot of reachers because i know the draft order will be a lot different, so i just picked a position that i thought that team needed the most.
I also like underrated players bc they dont get no credit, and ive seen most of them play great in big games.

My next mock will be more accurate

We all like our underrated players but from a draft perspective you can't put underrated players in your first round draft as high as you did and expect to have a nice mock.
