I have them taking Harvin.. what's your thoughts on that? To me he's worth pick 15 and theyre other receivers arent too great outside johnson.
Harvin would be great for Houston I think. I think Kubiak would use him in so many ways. I'd be fine with that pick.

the only problem I have with Harvin going to Houston, is while it makes some sense, the Houston offense was one of the tops in the league last year, and they have acknowledged that. I really don't see them drafting offense round 1.

Also, Harvin could see a bit of a dip in the draft, as he apparently tested positive for marijuana at the combine.

yo i know that a positive test might hurt your stock but honestly i gaurentee 80 percent of these guys smoke marijuana its just not all get caught... bottom line is unless he does it like ricky williams its not goin to affect his onfield performance... i doubt hes stupid enough to do it before a game or retire after 6 years to go to africa lol, im just mean i wouldnt worry about it too much to not draft him, but id def do more research into it.

It is a red flag. I agree, though.

Honestly, I've never touched pot in my life and I'm 28. I've never ever taken a single drag off even a cigarette.

I think pot should be legalized and I'd be more worried if I had a player smoking cigs over dope.

Dope in mass can be a problem, but used occasionally, it isn't going to hurt anything. I'm not encouraging someone to become a pothead, but there are much worse things one can do in life.

The biggest concern for Harvin and B.J. Raji, who both tested positive, is common sense. You know you're about to be tested at the combine, can you not smoke right before it at least and pass the test? That's what would hack me off.

I would definitely say a majority of NFL players probably smoke pot at some point during the offseason at least. Again, it causes less problems than cigs or alcohol for that matter.
