I don't think Derrick Johnson will go in the third round! LOL. But seriously, you worked hard to put this together, and it shows. Having analysis for 4 rounds is something I haven't seen yet, and it taught me somethinga baout players I was unfamiliar with. I like how you did that. You weren't perfect, though; no one is. I disagree with you about the following picks, and I'll tell you where I think they will go:

16. New Orleans - Heath Miller, TE - I think Miller will go to the Jets at 26. He presents a significant upgrade over Anthony Becht. Plus, the Saints already have Boo, as mentioned in a prior post.
19. St. Louis - Elton Brown, G - Brown will go to either the Pats at 32 (because they lost Andruzzi), or the Pack, who have the fifth pick in round two in your draft (they lost pro-bowl Guard Marco Rivera through free agency and need to retool their o-line).
24. Green Bay - Charlie Frye, QB - Frye isn't cut out for the first round. He'll go either to the Titans at 2, the Pack at 5, or the Raiders at 6, all in the second round.
29. Indy - Carlos Rodgers, CB - No way this guy makes it out of the top 20 alive. He'll go to the Rams at 19. They need CB help BAD.

Nice mock, with few errors.

I agree completely. That trade makes no sense for the Browns. If they trade down to #12 and #28 they will stay there. What would be the point of moving down then moving back up? Besides their is no way San Diego gives up more then the two First rounders to move up into the top 5, espically in this draft.

the colts picks are all wrong. Carlos Rogers will not be available at the 29th pick (although i would love it), look for them to take Washington or Jackson. the colts still have Rhodes, an undrafted FA who ran for 1000+ yards in his rookie season. at TE the have Dallas Clark who is a beast and Ben Hartsock who is decent. And even though they lost Diem they will not be taking a guard in the forth maybe in 6th or 7th but Indy will vastly improve the D

Why do you have Denver taking aTE in Alex Smith at 25????? They just matched the tender sheet offered to Jeb Putzier and signed Stephan Alexander. I agree with the Benson pick but why do you have Barron going to ten when they need much more help first. I don't see the panthers letting Miller drop past them besides the Saints have a pretty good TE in Boo Williams. I think Rogers will be gone way before 29 to the colts, if they get they stole one of the best db's in the draft.

2nd round has SF getting a TE, why, last year SF TE was their leading receiver and he is coming back unless he is cut in the next 2 weeks, I think they take Vernon Morency from OK st. decent but think about what teams have.

Like the trade up for San Diego but they won't have to give up a second also. Tampa Bay in no way will take a QB in this draft much less the first round. Dallas will take a WR but definitely not in the first -- you need to re-evaluate Parcells, it will be both picks defense in the first and they won't be at 11 and 20. Dallas will trade down with both picks to acquire additional picks probably only a couple of spots (3 to 5) but they will trade down.

Cleveland will not trade back up into the top ten, needs are to much and draft is to much of a wild card. If they make the trade they will use both the 12 and 28 on defense.

I WAS ON BOARD WITH THE CLEVELAND TRADE AND I AM ON BOARD WITHEM DRAFTING JASON CAMPBELL HOWEVER, ONCE THEY MAKE THE TRADE IS SEEMS STUPID TO GIVE IT AWAY FOR THE 6TH PICK. I HAD CLEVELAND TRADING WITH THE EAGLES FOR THEIR FIRST ROUND CHOICE AND THEIR 2 SECOND ROUND CHOICES (SEE PHAROAH). I THINK JASON AMPBELL WILL GO EARLY IN THE 2ND ROUND THATS WHY I SEE THE EAGLES TRADE MAKING MORE SENSE. I LIKE THE THE CHARGER TRADE BETTER THAN MINE BECAUSE THEY CAN STILL GET JASON CAMPBELL EARLY IN THE 2ND ROUND AT 34. CLEVELAND NEEDS TO REPLENISH THEIR D-LINE AFTER LOOSING BOTH DE'S AND THEIR DT.

The Browns Trade down to get more picks in the draft and trade up to get the player they wanted because johnson would not be at 12 and they trade their second for a sixth pick and a 2nd round pick next year.

Gruden Has made it public he would take a QB or a defensive player in the draft in the first round.

make sure u read the whole draft because i really worked on this.

Nice mock. Are there really two Stanley Wilson's and two Derric Johnsons? What are the odds that the Wilsons would go one after the other? Anyway, I don't think Orlovsky will fall to the seventh. He is probably a mid 5th round pick. A little to early for Clarett. IMO, he will either go in the 7th or go undrafted. He has a lot of character problems, and he isn't the talent he once was.
