Default 1st Mock Draft.........

Team - Player | Description

1. San Francisco 49ers - Alex Smith, QB Utah | Re-building begins here.
2. Miami Dolphins - Ronnie Brown, RB Auburn | Miami will probably be picking top five again in 2006, but Brown should help Dolphin fans begin to forget the name Ricky Williams.
3. Cleveland Browns - Aaron Rodgers, QB California | Trent Dilfer....starting quarterback.........yeah, right! Even the Browns aren't that stupid.
4. Chicago Bears - Cedric Benson, RB Texas | Definitely, one Bear of a running back.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Carnell Williams, RB Auburn | Buc's best running back since Dunn.
6. Tennessee Titans - Antrel Rolle, CB Miami (FL) | The Titans lost both starting cornerbacks (Rolle and Dyson), thus creating this 'need' pick.
7. Minnesota Vikings - Braylon Edwards, WR Michigan | Replacing Randy Moss may be a nightmare. Good Luck!
8. Arizona Cardinals - Pac-Man Jones, CB West Virginia | Dennis Green is finally gaining a little respect for the lowly Cardinals. Duane Starks must be replaced, whom's probably dancing all the way to New England.
9. Washington Redskins - Erasmus James, DE Wisconsin | James will help strengthen 'Skins D line.
10. Detroit Lions - Alex Barron, OT Florida State | Need pick.
11. Dallas Cowboys - Derrick Johnson, LB Texas | The loss of Dexter Coakley hurt the Cowboys, deeply.
12. San Diego Chargers (From NYG) - Mike Williams, WR USC | Great target for Brees or Rivers.
13. Houston Texans - Jammal Brown, OT Oklahoma | David Carr will like this pick.
14. Carolina Panthers - Heath Miller, TE Virginia | Panthers haven't had a good TE since Wesley Walls.
15. Kansas City Chiefs - Marcus Spears, DE LSU | Defensive help needed, inquire within.
16. New Orleans Saints - Shawne Merriman, LB Maryland | Stud linebacker strengthens D.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - Shaun Cody, DT USC | Marvin Lewis loves his defense.
18. Minnesota Vikings - Dan Cody, DE Oklahoma | Vikes' defensive makeover contnues.
19. St. Louis Rams - David Pollack, DE Georgia | Wistrom's replacement.
20. Dallas Cowboys (from Buf) - Troy Williamson, WR South Carolina | Fast WR is a great fit for DaBoys.
21. Jacksonville Jaguars - Channing Crowder, LB Florida | Improving D-Line gets help in LB corps.
22. Baltimore Ravens - Mark Clayton, WR Oklahoma | Dyson and Clayton will give Ravens a dreaded WR duo. If Boller can get them the ball.
23. Seattle Seahawks - Carlos Rogers, CB Auburn | Now replacing FA losses, anyone else?
24. Green Bay Packers - Elton Brown, OG Virginia | Yes, us too!
25. Denver Broncos - Michael Munoz, OT Tennessee | Help for O-line
26. New York Jets - Anttaj Hawthorne, DT Wisconsin | Ferguson's replacement.
27. Atlanta Falcons - David Baas, OG, Michigan | Must help protect Vick.
28. San Diego Chargers - Marlin Jackson, CB Michigan | Good Defense gets better.
29. Indianapolis Colts - Mike Patterson, DT USC | Any help on defense would be appreciated.
30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Chris Henry, WR West Virginia | Steelers will get talented but wayward Wr in line.
31. Philadelphia Eagles - Roddy White, WR UAB | Pinkston sucks, Mitchell's mouth is alot bigger than his game will ever be. White will help take pressure off Owens.
32. New England Patriots - Barrett Ruud, ILB Nebraska | Need pick, too bad about Bruschi

i honestly dont think that the bears need a RB, in fact, i think they would love to get a quality #2 WR in Braylon Edwards. why does evryone have the vikes takin a receiver? u cant replace randy moss so you jus have to strengthen other parts first (defense) n then get some depth on da WR side. Dallas wouldnt pass on Williams.......they need a WR pretty badly n if he leaks to there, theyd take him in a flash. other than those 3 things it looks pretty good. B

I don't think the Skins are happy with Gardner/Moss duo. They were hesitant to make Coles/Moss trade. Gibbs may look for sleeper CB in 2nd Round. I believe Williams if he falls or D-Line. Chicago could go D, take Johnson but I hope not. DaBoys really need him and I think he's better than Merriman. Just fun speculation until 4/23.

I think the Boys will move up in 2nd round and grab Brodney Pool. Pool will be a great fit at FS allowing the Boys to move Roy Williams to SS. A weak secondary last year becomes a strength this season.

Default Re: 1st Mock Draft.........

I don't think that Smith is likely to go first especially with the recent poor reviews of his pro day (receivers not going full speed etc.).

In addition, you are aware that Dilfer started in the Super Bowl for the Ravens. To expect him to start this year actually makes a heck of a lot more sense than drafting a QB and expecting him to start this year.

TEAMS HAVE NEEDS YOUR MOCK LISTS DESIRES. WHY WOULD CHICAGO GET A RB WHEN THEY HAVE ONE. WHY WOULD THE BUCS GET A RB IN THE FIRST ROUND WHEN THEY CAN GET "THEIR TYPE OF BACK IN THE SECOND ROUND (SCAT BACK WITH HANDS) WHILE WILLIAMS IS STILL THERE(REMEMBER KEYSHAWN). REDSKINS MUST REPLACE SMOOT OR THE YEAR IS FINISHED BEFORE THEY START. DEXTER COAKLEY BARELY BEAT OUT 2ND YEAR LB BRADY JAMES. DALLAS NEEDS A DE SINCE THEY LET WILEY GO (MERRIMAN WILL DO). THE CARDINALS STARTED EMMITT SMITH AND HE IS NOW RETIRED CADILLAC WILL BE A GOOD CHOICE. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE VIKINGS WERE SENT HOME FROM THE PLAYOFFS BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T RUN THE BALL SO CEDRIC BENSON IS THE LOGICAL SELECTION. THEY STILL NEED ANOTHER WIDEOUT THEY CAN SNAG CLAYTON AT 18.
