The Tampa-Detroit trade makes no sense. They could both stay where they are and get the same players.
And he doesnt have the houston-atlanta trade in there
I'm not really a fan of the mock as a whole

Not true. After Johnson's pro day numbers, there is no gaurantee that he's available at #4. Many teams could be eyeing to move up to grab Johnson. This draft assumes Tampa takes control of the situation. Hell, there isn't even a sure fire chance Johnson is available at #2 anymore.
I'm a huge fan of Kirwan's knowledge of the game both business aspect and the onfield aspect, but this mock is not my favorite. He's done better. Granted, this mock assumes trades, which is damn near impossible to figure out without getting inside the brain trust of each individual team and need. Because of this, the mock definitely skews it away from the same 3-4 mocks we've been seeing lately.

The onyl team that would really trade up to get johnson is Minnesota.

Revis as the #1 CB? So Kirwan is one of those guys that's obsessed with measurables too....that mock is not very good at all. And it's not just cause of the Revis pick. He's way off on that Staley comment too. Staley does not fit their blocking scheme. I like to think that OL is my position of...I don't wanna say expertise, but I know the position better than others. Staley isn't a good fit for a power blocking scheme. Also, the Cowboys pick....Michael Griffin? A) I don't like him in the 1st round at all. B) Weren't the Cowboys bad enough in coverage at the safety position last season? Why would they add a guy that should play SS, not FS, and is worse in coverage than Roy Williams is? I really don't think Kirwan is very much in touch with a lot of teams at all.

I was actually going to post this the other day, but didn't get around to it
this mock SUCKS!!!! None of the trades make very much sense, Revis that high is a joke, and Hall that low is a joke. So revis runs a 4.39, that's worse than Hall's 40 and he is worse overall at everything on the field than hall is.
I don't see why the Saints would trade up to get Olsen when they signed Eric Johnson in FA, and allready have Billy Miller, who was surprisingly good for them last season.

Eric Johnson is a huge injury risk and Billy Miller wasn't good for the Saints last season. He only caught 14 balls and not TDs. I expect them to stand pat with Johnson, but he'll be paired with Mark Campbell. They're very excited about his potential at TE.

Miller didn't do much in the season, but came on in the playoffs. Brees went to him a number of times, and used him as a safety net. Eric Johnson is an injury risk, i agree, but i still don't see why the Saints would trade up to get Olsen. If he fell to them, its possible, but they would not move up to grab him.
