Your right about Trent Cole i guess I was fooledf by his #58 jersey and his 265 lb frame. The Eagles were also high on Omar Gaither from Tennessee who started at the other OLB.

Yes they do like Gaither, but he's considered the eventual replacement for Trotter. The Eagles talked about that after they drafted him. They're grooming him for that MLB spot. Trotter might not be on the team this year, but I certainly expect him to be gone by the 2008 season for sure.

pep, the Eagles haven't drafted a TE in Andy Reid's career as head coach either.

Sure the Eagles like Gocong and Gaither, but the rest of thier LBs are old and/or struggling. As you said Trotter could be gone soon, Shaun Barber and Dhani Jones don't quite cut it, and Matt McCoy didn't fan out as they hoped. That leaves a void at OLB, and since Phili is one of the deepest teams talent wise, they don't have many draft need.

And i don't get where these TE rumours are coming from, LJ Smith is a solid starting TE.

I like the Ross to the Jets pick. They signed Kenyon Coleman and Thomas Jones to fill their 2 other biggest needs. They could go with a DE in the second still but not in the first now so CB is the likely pick.

The Jets 59th pick makes no sense at all. Why would the Jets add another RB to their team when Jones and Washington are the Jets 1-2 punch and Houston is also a capable backup as well.
