4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Calvin Johnson WR
5. Arizona Cardinals - Joe Thomas OT

8. Houston Texans - Marshawn Lynch RB
9. Miami Dolphins - Brady Quinn QB
10. Atlanta Falcons - Ted Ginn Jr WR

Wow.

I don't see Minny's need for a S.

Peterson goes over Lynch.

Miami won't take a QB that high.

Atlanta doesn't need to become the new Detroit with picking WR's every year.

Not bad but I think Minnesota dosen't need a safety. They need a QB and another RB. You are right on with Detroit. I don't see them selecting a QB they need help on the D-line.

???????? Just what???? You are refering to the Minnesota Vikings correct?? Taylor played very well this season and showed signs of being a first year starter. Any running back they get, will still be a first year starter. Childress isnt a fan of the two back system so if they were to get another RB (which next to DT is about the only position they dont need) it would be via free agency.

If Johnson was still a starter, then I would agree with you about the QB. However, Jackson showed enough promise that he can be the starter at least for a while. He definitely has the physical tools, he just doesnt have a complete grip of the offense yet and has virtually no talent to throw to (Wiggins is a great talent but if Childress continues to use him in this way then he will be as good as useless). Which means he is just as valuable as any QB in this draft (except for Russell and Quinn which wont fall to them anyway). Therefore again, if they do add talent it would be via free agency.

However, they probably wont add either. They might get a QB, but its not going to be a Byron Leftwich or anything. Itll be more like Shaun King or Rohan Davey. (Speaking of which, i wonder what they're doing right about now.)

I've never been a fan of any mock draft that I've seen done by Yahoo. Usually I don't even bother looking at them.

I dont like it at all either. There ussually are always picks that seem to surprise everybody in the first round as far as how high they go but i dont see Jamal Anderson going number 2 and i dont see Reggie Nelson going number 7. I also dont think that Lynch will go before Peterson.
