Default New Mock Draft, Let me know what you think

Mock Draft
1. San Francisco – Aaron Rodgers, California, QB*
The 49ers desperately need a QB, Rodgers is the best of the crop.
Other Possibilities: Alex Smith, Antrel Rolle
2. Miami – Cedric Benson, Texas, RB
Miami has a huge need for a RB, and Benson may be the best player in the draft.
Other Possibilities: Carnell Williams, Alex Smith
3. Cleveland – Alex Smith, Utah, QB*
With the release of Jeff Garcia, a QB is essential.
Other Possibilities: Antrel Rolle, Derrick Johnson
4. Chicago – Braylon Edwards, Michigan, WR
The Chicago QBs will never get any better unless the Bears get a legitimate play making wide receiver; Edwards is that
Other Possibilities: Mike Williams, Alex Barron
5. Tampa Bay – Mike Williams, USC, WR*
Michael Clayton is exceptional, but the rest of the receiving corps is getting old (Brown, Galloway, & Jurevicious)
Other Possibilities: Derrick Johnson, Braylon Edwards
6. Tennessee- trade down to with New Orleans
New Orleans- Derrick Johnson
New Orleans needs defense in any form, DJ is the best defensive player in the draft, and is an unbelievable athlete
Other Possibilities: Antrel Rolle, Alex Barron
7. Oakland- Carnell Williams, RB, Auburn
A top RB is needed for the Raiders offense to prosper.
Other Possibilities: Mike Williams, Erasmus James
8. Arizona- Ronnie Brown, RB, Auburn
Marcel Shipp is probably not the answer, and although the Cards need a QB, there is not any talented enough to take right here
Other Possibilities: Antrel Rolle, Carnell Williams
9. Washington- David Pollack, DE, Georgia
The Redskins need O, but Pollack is a great player that the Redskins really need on their D-Line. I don’t know how a three time conference player of the year can be underrated, but he is. Hopefully the Redskins will realize his talent.
Other Possibilities: Alex Barron, Erasmus James
10. Detroit- Antrell Rolle, CB, Miami
This is the steal of the draft. Rolle is probably the third best player in the draft and is a tremendous addition to the Lions. He will immediately improve the secondary.
Other Possibilities: Carlos Rogers, Thomas Davis
11. Dallas- Marlin Jackson, CB, Michigan
The Cowboys need someone to start opposite Terence Newman, and although they drafted D-backs in two of the last first rounds they drafted in, the position is still weak. Jackson is a good tackling corner. Carlos Rogers would also be a good pick here.
Other Possibilities: Carlos Rogers, Anttaj Hawethorne
12. San Diego from N.Y. Giants – Erasmus James, DE, Wisconsin
The Chargers need a receiver more, but can get one with their second pick. James is a talented pass rusher.
Other Possibilities: Mark Clayton, David Pollack
13. Houston- Alex Barron, OT, Florida State
The best O-Lineman in the draft will surely help the Texans offense.
Other Possibilities: Jammal Brown, Anttaj Hawethorne
14. Carolina- Carlos Rogers, CB, Auburn
Rogers is an excellent cover corner and tackler that would vastly improve the Panther’s secondary.
Other Possibilities: Pac Man Jones, Mark Clayton
15. Kansas City- Thomas Davis, SS, Georgia*
KC needs any defensive help. WR is also a need. Davis is a big hitter who will add authority to the Chiefs D, just like Roy Williams in Dallas
Other Possibilities: Pac Man Jones, Mark Clayton
16. New Orleans trade up to Tennessee
Tennessee - Pac Man Jones, CB, West Virginia*
The Titans have a lot of free agents at corner and will draft the rest of their needs with the picks they obtained from the Saints.
Other Possibilities: Carlos Rogers, Channing Crowder
17. Cincinatti- Antajj Hawethorne, DT, Wisconsin
The best Defensive tackle in the draft, Hawethorne can dominate inside for the Bengals.
Other Possibilities: Travis Johnson, Dan Cody
18. Minnesota- Ernest Shazor, SS, Michigan*
Shazor is a big hitter who could help out the Vikings weak D.
Other Possibilities: Mark Clayton, Corey Webster
19. St. Louis- Marcus Spears, DE, LSU
Spears can play end or tackle and will help the Rams D Line.
Other Possibilities: Corey Webster, Shaun Cody
20. Dallas from Buffalo- Dan Cody, DE/DT, Oklahoma
Dallas needs a D tackle opposite Glover
Other Possibilities: Shaun Cody, Jammal Brown
21. Jacksonville – Jammal Brown, OT, Oklahoma
Leftwich definitely needs some protection.
Other Possibilities: Shawne Merriman, Heath Miller
22. Baltimore- Mark Clayton, WR, Oklahoma
Clayton is agile, quick, and good after the catch. The Ravens need a receiver more than anything.
Other Possibilities: Troy Williamson, Corey Webster
23. Seattle- Channing Crowder, LB, Florida*
Other Possibilities: Marion Barber, Odell Thurman
24. Green Bay- Odell Thurman, LB, Georgia*
Other Possibilities: Channing Crowder, Charlie Frye
25. Denver- Heath Miller, TE, Virginia
Other Possibilities: Marcus Spears, Shaun Cody
26. NY Jets- Corey Webster, CB, LSU
Other Possibilities: Justin Miller, Brandon Browner
27. Atlanta- Elton Brown, G, Virginia
Other Possibilities: Jamaal Brimmer, Ernest Shazor
28. San Diego- Jimmy Williams, S, Virginia Tech
Other Possibilities: Brodney Poole, Troy Williamson
29. Indianapolis- Brandon Browner, CB, Oregon State*
Other Possibilities: Justin Miller, Marion Barber
30. Pittsburgh- Travis Johnson, DT, Florida State
Other Possibilities: Justin Miller, Troy Williamson
31. Philadelphia- Vernand Morency, RB, Oklahoma State*
Will take some of the load off Westbrook.
Other Possibilities: David Baas, Marion Barber
32. New England – Justin Miller, CB, Clemson
Other Possibilities: Brandon Browner, Shawne Merriman

Best players left: Shawne Merriman, Shaun Cody, Darryl Blackstock, Mike Patterson, Marion Barber, Kevin Burnett, Brodney Poole, Jamaal Brimmer

Default ...

pretty good...there are a few things i dont like here....first off i hate projecting trades...fill it out like it is and update as necessary...2nd Tampa has a receiver behind clayton who is young and a possesion style receiver...the bucs are said to be high on him, his name is Charles Lee, i think they go RB abd take the "Caddy"...i dont see Wash taking anyone on def...they need WR/QB help... KC doesnt need a safety, they need corners and Defensive ends...i see Pollack falling their way...other than that i think it looks pretty solid

A pretty good mock. But I agree on not projecting trades. Good part on you for making New Orleans trade up for DJ, they would be the first to do so. The only think I am going to say I dont like is Marlin Jackson would not go to Dallas when Adam "Pac-Man" Jones is still available. Oh and also Jimmy Williams... I just dont think he will go first round. Check out my mock man. Later.
