Default My draft

Team - Player | Description
1.
San Francisco 49ers - Aaron Rogers, QB California | Their Quarterback position is terrible. Obvious choice
2. Miami Dolphins - Cedric Benson, RB Texas | The best running back in the draft. He is a stud and Miami needs a good back after Ricky left.
3. Dallas Cowboys - Alex Smith, QB Utah | Cowboys trade here with the Browns in order to move up and get a great QB in Smith. Vinny is too old and Henson did not show anything last year.
4. Chicago Bears - Antrel Rolle, CB Miami (FL) | Best CB in the draft. Chicago needs a CB.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Braylon Edwards, WR Michigan | Best WR in the draft. One-Two punch with Clayton and Edwards
6. Tennessee Titans - Derrick Johnson, LB Texas | Titans very happy Johnson drops to them at six. Stud LB with the speed of Lavar Arrington
7. Oakland Raiders - Carnell Williams, RB Auburn | Obvious choice here, the Raiders need a running back.
8. Arizona Cardinals - Pac-Man Jones, CB West Virginia | You never know what the Cardinals are going to do on draft day. This is my best guess
9. Washington Redskins - Marcus Spears, DE LSU | This guy is going to shoot up the draft charts after the combine. Went back to LSU for his senior year.
10. Detroit Lions - Alex Barron, OT Florida State | They need help on the line. Best tackle available since Ferguson from Virginia decided to stay in school
11. Cleveland Browns - Mike Williams, WR USC | Browns traded down with Dallas and pick up the second best WR in the draft. Last year this kid would have been in the top 5. Browns get the steal of the draft.
12. San Diego Chargers (From NYG) - Jammal Brown, OT Oklahoma | San Diego started 5 new offensive linemen last year. This year they start to solidify the line with this stud tackle.
13. Houston Texans - Erasmus James, DE Wisconsin | Great player at Wisconsin. Is a Richard Seymour type in the NFL.
14. Carolina Panthers - Carlos Rogers, CB Auburn | Carolina gets a steal here. Rogers is a shut down corner they need.
15. Kansas City Chiefs - Corey Webster, CB LSU | Defense, Defense, Defense. KC takes the best defensive player available.
16. New Orleans Saints - Shaun Cody, DT USC | Awesome DT at USC. Saints need some depth on the DL.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - Thomas Davis, S Georgia | Bengals need defensive help. They get lucky by snatching the best saftey in the draft.
18. Minnesota Vikings - David Pollack, DE Georgia | Vikings need to improve their DL. Pollack is another player that went back to school for his senior year. That decision might have hurt his draft status.
19. St. Louis Rams - Justin Miller, CB Clemson | Rams need CB help.
20. Dallas Cowboys (from Buf) - Shawne Merriman, LB Maryland | This guy is shooting up the charts. I will be suprised if he lasts this long.
21.
Jacksonville Jaguars - Ronnie Brown, RB Auburn | WOW, the Browns don\'t get the steal of the draft, the Jaguars do. Ronnie Brown is a terrific back and will be a great pro.
22. Baltimore Ravens - Mark Clayton, WR Oklahoma | If the Ravens don\'t trade for Randy Moss, they will need help at receiver.
23. Seattle Seahawks - Travis Johnson, DT Florida St. | Seahawks need defensive help.
24. Green Bay Packers - Anttaj Hawthorne, DT Wisconsin | Packers get a Big Ten kid who won\'t have to move far from playing his college ball at Wisconsin.
25. Denver Broncos - Heath Miller, TE Virginia | Good pick here for the Broncos. They get the best TE in the Draft.
26. New York Jets - Chris Henry, WR West Virginia | With Wayne Chrebet retiring, they are going to need a third receiver. This kid is tall and strong.
27. Atlanta Falcons - Elton Brown, OG Virginia | Falcons are happy to land the best Guard in the Draft.
28. San Diego Chargers - Dan Cody, DE Oklahoma | Big year for DE, four will go in the first round.
29. Indianapolis Colts - David Baas, OG, Michigan | Just another big body to protect Manning and the gang.
30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Kevin Burnett, LB Tennessee | Need to replace Kendrel Bell.
31. Philadelphia Eagles - Mike Patterson, DT USC | You can never have enough big bodies in the middle.
32. New England Patriots - Marlin Jackson, CB Michigan | Whoever they pick here, you know they are going to have character and be able to contribute.

I don't think the Tuna has the time or patience to wait for another young QB. If Dallas does move up it will be to take one of the WR's. And Chicago will draft a WR or RB at #4, that is to high for Rolle to go anyway.
