Default Running backs

I like Turner too, however what if LT gets hurt next year, g-d for bid is everybody banking that Turner will be able to do what LT does 90% of the time. Look at the Steelers thank god for Parker. If it weren't for him the Steelers would have been in deep trouble last year. What if LT and Turner gets hurt, g-d forbid. What is Rivers going to do then. They need that 3rd down back that can come in whether or not anybody is hurt and put some yardage on the other team. Besides imagine having Turner and white brusing the other team backing up Lt with LT making everybody miss. The other teams will be begging for the pass. That backfield will take alot of pressure off rivers next year too. Believe me he'll need alot pressure taken off him next year being it'll be his first time controlling a proffessional team.

thats far off ... not often you get down to the 3rd stringer at any position..(unless your the Jet's tring to get a qb to stand in for atleast one game)...but LT has been really good with injuries and i think turners capable...but in the unlikely event that they both get injured that leaves you with sproles who isn't that bad... he's quick .. a lil undersized but he could carry the load for a game or two any longer and the chargers would be screwed.

Some teams regularly went to 3rd stringers, or off the street FA's, and went on to win 3 out of 4 Superbowls. Depth is extremely important.

I disagree. There are teams that get down to the 3rd string running back. Look at the packers. They had their first three go down, signed another back, he got injured, then brought in Samkon Gado. Even he got injured for a game but thankfully they had Tony Fisher back.
