I think Denver has to target defensive players for the new scheme. Guys like Tyson Jackson, Everette Brown, maybe even Robert Ayers. I think there's a chance B.J. Raji could fall to them at No. 12 because of the positive drug test, which is a crock anyway. Every team passing on him is going to regret much like teams did with Warren Sapp.

I don't think they go QB. Kyle Orton in a spread type offense is going to be very good. It's what he played in college. I think Orton is a fine option at QB for a couple years in Denver. He showed a lot of improvement last season. If Sanchez falls to them at 12, I could see them pulling the trigger. I don't think they'll go Freeman with the second pick. I think the Broncos wait till next season to get their QB.

As far as shaking up the draft, I don't see it doing anything drastic. WRs might fall further down the list. I think it also gives Detroit a better shot of getting one of the top four OTs at 20. Other than that, I don't see anything major happening because of the trade.

I pretty much agree with cubffs here. Orten will be a solid QB in this offense and should be able to succeed quite well with the o-line and wr's he has to work with.

What Denver still needs major help with is really any position on defense. Though many will suggest LB, I agrue that postion is the strongest on the defense. DJ Williams, Boss Bailey (who actually played great besides getting hurt), Wesley Woodyard, Andra Davis, Jarvis Moss, Spencer Larsen, and Dumervil in passing situations is a strong and expereinced group. I think the most help would be at ILB.

However if Raji is still there, no doubt that Denver takes him. Stil, Ray Mauagula would be the selection over Evertte Brown or Maybin for the 12th pick.

Looking at pick #18, Tyson Jackson just makes way too much since there. Hes a great 3-4 end and the Broncos get better value taking him there.

I still consider Malcolm Jenkins, Evertte Brown, and Aaron Maybin possibilities at #12 if available.

Other possible selections at #18 are Chris Wells or even Brian Cushing (but I still dont think Denver needs an OLB).

The only reason I question Denver's needs at OLB is the players there.

I remember Jarvis Moss doing OLB drills and realizing he was not very good on two feet at the combine. Elvis Dumervil might struggle from the position as well. There are guys who project better to the position in this year's draft like Orakpo, Maybin, Brown, Sintim, Matthews, Cushing, English... the list is long.

I think 12 is too high for Maualuga now. Jackson would be the pick at 18, but I don't expect him to be available.
