Packers would take Brodney Pool over Matt Roth right bout now seeing how they could get a good passrusher in the 2 round

The Packers have a huge need for a O-lineman. Quit telling yourself that the O-line is fine. If your a Packers fan like you say you should know what their team needs are. Safety is deep this year. They could get quality in Pool in the second, or Nicholson, Shazor, Atogwe, Bullocks, or even Butler in the Packers 2nd second round selection.

I dont think the packers will draft a safty in the 1st round, they will probably look for one in the second round with the 58th pick after taking a QB at the 51 spot. A safty thats high on Green Bays board is Vincent Fuller S Virgina Tech, they really liked him after the combine. Overall I think you have a solid draft, some people have Adam Jones over Antrel Rolle. But none of us know who the Titans like better so Rolle is a pretty safe pick. Nice draft though.

Mel, you most likey havent seen enought packers games to see the backups for the o-line play. They play good. Our line will be fine. You dont know enought about the packers, or shown that you know enought to make judements on the o-line. So i dont care if ppl think your the smartest or make the best mocks. We can always get better guards with later picks.

Is there really that big of a difference between Brodney Poole and all the 2nd round+ guys mentioned (Nicholson, Shazor, Fuller, etc etc)? This is a very deep draft for that position, and even if safety is the Packers' biggest need (and I'm not saying it is or isn't), Poole is a poor value at the 24th pick. On the other hand, I think Roth or Shaun Cody would be great value at that spot for a team that could use versatile players in the front 7. Guys like that won't be available late round 2.

The mock draft looks good! The only thing is that Travis Johnson is a near-unanimously higher-rated defensive tackle than Antaaj Hawthorne, so you might want to consider Johnson for the Bengals' pick.

I wasnt trying to start an arguement with you, in my opinion their biggest need is on the O-line. Its hard to replace a veritile Mike Wahle and OG Marco Rivera. Darren Sharper is also hard to replace but seriously the depth is deep at S this year. You could go S at #24 but most likely a DE like Pollack or Roth would still be available. Why go with Brodney Pool (who I saw play his entire Oklahoma career) when he is questionable? He bites on play fakes and would get burned if forced to cover a speedy WR. I say go DE at #24 then go Shazor, Nicholson. Bullocks, Atogwe, or Butler (Butler will be there in the 3rd round) with one of your 2nd round picks. Then of course a QB like Frye, McPherson, Campbell, or Orton with one of your second round picks. Not trying to start shit, everyone always thinks I am even though I am not. I just say what I think. Later.

I strongly feel that Vincent Fuller is the way to go for the packers in the 2nd round. He fits their system hes a strong physical safty who can cover well with his speed and his size against the new NFL tightends. I like the Frye pick with their first second round pick and Ive changed some of my first round picks, I have Dan Cody Sliping to Green Bay and Matt Roth going to Philadelphia. I will have my complete 7 round mock draft posted later tonight. I gotta keep up with TheNextMelKiper and pmvick7atl. There the best right now so ill see what they think about my 7 rounder.

by the way if youre wondering why my name is a little different its because i realized i had 2 rs in mary instead of 1 so im the same person whos mock this is.
