he got hurt, but he came back and did pretty good once he realized that he cant outrun the linebackers to the sideline. he will be above average next year.

Its hard to say who the most underated player is, but i think it would have to go to Donnie Edwards, LB for the San Diego Chargers. Only once in his career has he posted under 100 tackles, and that was his rookie season when he didnt start.. Last year he posted 150 total tackles, 5 Interceptions, three forced fumbles, and a sack. Was he voted to the Pro Bowl? Nope. Was the chargers defence #1 against the run? you bet

i could keep going but i'll stop

Tedy Bruschi was the most underrated before the playoffs this year, now he's everyone's favorite player. And now he had a stroke so he's probably retarded or something.

Im gonna go with Julius Jones....

he was hurt the first 7 games of last season and then came back and finished up with almost 900 yards

if any one else watched to monday nite game against Seattle they know what i'm talkin about

he shows explosiveness you dont see in the NFL any more

watch out for JJ in '05

agreed. Provided he stays healthy and Dallas can field a reasonable O Line on the right side, he will blow up and rush for 1700 yards.

JJ has the ability to make people look silly in the open field. He isn't a great "between the tackles" runner just yet. I hope to see him become more of a weapon in the passing game as well.

Rodney Harrison, Safety for the Patriots. This guy leads all Dbs in tackles and sacks pretty much every year, lays guys out like you would not believe, and makes clutch playoff interceptions. Had four INTs in the playoffs this year. And he provides such leadership...who else in the NFL could have led his team to a SB win with 3 first and second year players in the secondary. He never gets recognized as the top safety in the NFL. Him, Reed and Dawkins are far and away the three best safeties in the league.
