yeah braylon is for real. he won the Bilitnekov what awards did Darren Charles win? if the NCAA thinks that Braylon is better, what makes you think otherwise? just because your in love with this guy doenst mean hes for real.

While Darren Charles may be an interesting mid to late round sleeper, Braylon Edwards is widely considered to be the top wide receverin the draft. With the NFL combine starting today and running through the weekend, we should be able to get a good look at the receivers, and hopefully gauge their talent and ability levels.

braylon is by far better, but the combine is overated. individual scout visits are what count, last year lee evans ran routes for 45 minutes in front of a handful of pro scouts and not a single pass hit the ground, that is what changes your draft position.

i agree that the combine is overrated, but it can skyrocket your status with good enough workouts....Ahmad Carroll went from the third round to late first after posting a fast 40 time....Carlos Francis, considered by many as not going to be drafted was picked in the third round for the same reason. The combine is a good way to loosely gauge where a player is at relative to his peers, but it shouldnt be the end-all for talent evaluation.

"Potential"????Potential vs. skill...Potential vs Braylon Edwards and Mike Williams and Mike Clayton....Ill take the studs and leave the "potential"for the 3rd and 4th rounds where it belongs.Potential, nothing looks better on the bench.
