Does Denver think they can get Lendale with that early pick in the second round....he is from the Denver area and would be a nice replacement for Mike Anderson. The only problem is that I dont think White falls past the Steelers with the last pick in the first round.
Rumor also has it that Denver is eyeing Santonio Holmes, not Chad Jackson with the 15th pick. I think Denver will take a WR in the #15 spot and then take White if he is there in the second. If not, I can see them taking a DE like Kiwanuka or quite possibly a TE like Lewis in that spot. If you stop and think about it, Denver did quite well in this trade. By moving back to just out of the first they lose the salary that it would cost to sign a first round draft pick, but still get a quality player that could very easily fall to them at that point. The trade also give them a third round pick which before the trade they didnt have because they had sent that to the Falcons in the Abraham deal.
Overall, as a Denver fan I am very pleased with this trade.

I have Denver taking Marcedes Lewis with the early 2nd round pick. There's a chance that Gabe Watson could fall to this pick as well and I think they would consider him.

what Im hearing is that denver thinks theyre fine at receiver and may use the 15 overall pick to go after Vernon Davis, if he isnt available or they arent able to trade up, I think they take a receiver at 15.
Word out the Niners camp is split. some are saying theyre going after deangelo williams with the newly accquired broncos pick. Some say it is a gambit to go after Reggie Bush in a trade with the Texans; and still others insist it is a move to insure they accquire A.J. Hawk who may or may not be available at #6 when they pick...

Wow, I feel awesome. I also have the Broncos taking Santonio Holmes AND Marcedes Lewis. Yay for me! And Lendale wouldn't fall that far, that's wishful thinking for any Broncos fan who thinks so.
I originally thought it was a bad trade for the Broncos, but now I think otherwise. I can definately see how it would benefit the Broncos, especially with no 3rd round pick. Both teams benefitted in this trade. Quite possibly a win-win situation.
And I think that it is very possible that the Niners go after Bush. The Texans don't seem to want the pick, and Bush is much better than Frank Gore. It would be a good idea for them, even though they would basically giving up their whole draft for Bush. But with the buzz it would generate, it could work out.

Look for the Broncos to go after a safety after filling WR and TE... Anothony Smith or Ko Simpson would make good fits

I like the move for the Niners, because I think it works out well for them regardless of what they do. They're definately eyeing a trade with the Texans; but according to the pick value chart, the 6th pick + 22nd pick is still short of equaling the value of the 1st pick, so they'd have to add in future selections. I'd personally like to see them stay where they are. At the 6th pick they're basically guaranteed to have a shot at Vernon Davis. Then at 22, they have a legit shot at DeAngelo Williams; who, early in the off-season, people were calling for them to take with the 6th pick! If the Niners get those two guys, Alex Smith would suddenly have some real weapons around him. Sure the defense would be a disaster, but the important thing right now for the franchise is to not ruin its $55 million quarterback.
And hey, if DeAngelo is gone, then they can add a player to that new 3-4 defense. It's not like the Niners are short on needs to fill, haha.
The Broncos also came out fine in this trade. Instead of reaching for a DB at 22, they can get good value for one in the early 2nd round (at least that's what I think they're going to do).
