My latest revelation is that the Bucs are going to end up with Josh Freeman even if that means reaching for him at No. 19. I don't like him. I don't think any team should consider him that highly. Everyone wants to preach Joe Flacco, but Freeman is no where near as ready as Flacco was. Still, I'm just convinced he will be in Tampa Bay.

I don't think Michael Johnson will be an OLB in the 4-3. He simply wasn't that impressive on his feet.

Darius Butler will be a first round pick. That's something else I'm confident about. He's got the best ball skills in this draft at CB.

Loadholt is a bit high. I can't see him going before the late second round.

I think Derrick Williams has slipped significantly and is a late third-early fourth projection.

Those are the only red flags I saw. Solid mock.

The only players I think Kansas City is considering at No. 3 are Jason Smith, Aaron Curry, and Eugene Monroe. Orakpo is to much of a bust factor for KC IMO even though I like him a lot.

I think it'll come down to Curry and Monroe. I like Curry because he's just the best overall defensive player in the draft, but Monroe played for Al Groh who was on the same staff as Todd Haley and in the front office was Scott Piloi. You can't ignore that connection. It's a toss up.

I think Oher is a reach at No. 6. The highest I like him is No. 8. Maybe GB looks at him.

I also think Andre Smith probably goes before him. He's better on tape. This thing about his shirt being off at his pro day is ridiculous. If you ignore that stupid report, he had a pretty decent workout. Tony Mandrich had a physique on him and that sure worked out for the Packers.

I think you have Everette Brown falling to far. I think he goes top 15.

I don't like Rey Maualuga as high as 20. I really think he could slip like DeMeco Ryans did.

James Laurinitis too. I don't see him inside in the 3-4. I think inside in the cover 2 is where he belongs.

I think Brian Cushing is a better pick there. In fact, Cushing plays both the outside and the inside. New England loves players like that and they need help at both positions.

Josh Freeman isn't falling that far. I don't like him that much either, but that doesn't mean everyone else doesn't too. Tampa Bay is definitely going to want him. I agree with Cubbs.

Raheem Morris was coaching at Kansas State when Freeman was recruited. He knows him and he probably covets him because of that. I think the Jets want him too. I also think if Detroit and Matthew Stafford fall apart on deals, Detroit will want him. I think he could go top 15. I think Tampa is going to want to move up in front of New York and I think they'll find a trade partner in the top 15 and take him. Probably a team like New Orleans or Houston.

Having him fall to the Jets that late in round two is either wishful thinking or letting your own opinion get in the way of what is one of the fastest rising players right now. To me that is your biggest error in an otherwise very solid. I thought your second round was great.

thanks guys.... yea i actually don't want the jets to take freeman at all its just i think he's really terrible lol. I mean he can't hit n e thing, when he throws online its over the head, i mean he's a total project.

As far as KC look at cubbs mock where I asked him about orakpo there and you'll see his explaination for him over curry, which I liked and agreed with, hence the pick. Orakpo is a better passrusher and it seems thats what KC needs for their 3-4. They have plenty of people to play inside. I also don't think he's a bust at all.

I think Maualuga is getting dropped for no reason, but IMO he's the best defensive player on the board at 20, and thats why i have him there. Who in your opinion is better that's left?

Yea, I'll probably end up switching laurinatis and cushing where they are now.

Oher is more solid than people think and teams picking high tend to reach a lil for OT's (see Levi Brown). Cincy is desperate for an OT and I see no way, unless aarron curry is there, that they pass on one at pick six. They hpe for monroe but settle for oher.

As far as the giants go, It's a tough, tough pick. They way their draft works out, they fill the WR and RB needs in round two with nicks and McCoy, who i think will both end up falling to them. So in the first round, rather than reach for those positions, they take a chance on an athlete like Johnson. I really should have put ATH for position. I thinkn theyll try him on the strong side like they did with Kiwanuka (who no one projected as an OLB) and see if it works. If not then he comes in to play DE on pass rushing downs, and gives depth to the DL (just like cubbs argued in them taking ayers). Bottom line is its a luxury pick, but drafting a pass rusher is never a bad option. If the gmen get a rb to fill in for ward and plaxico back or a receiver like him I see them going 14-2 and winning the superbowl no doubt about it. Clint Sintim could get looked at also. We'll see what happens.

Everette Brown isn't a top 15 pick for sure. I think he's an outside 15 pick. Thus, I like where you have him.

The Chiefs have neither attended Monroe's pro day or invited him for a private workout/visit. That should indicate a lack of interest in the OT.

There are three players the Chiefs have had in for private workouts who are worthy of picking No. 3 overall -- Jason Smith, Curry and Orakpo. I doubt Smith will be available. So, it's between the two LB prospects. I personally feel they might be swayed by Orakpo because of his ability to rush the passer.

Kansas City might feel they don't need to attend Monroe's workouts. They probably already have enough on him with the Groh connection.

Plus some teams and I know for a fact that the Packers are one of them will purposely not bring a guy in for a visit because they are interested in them. Private meetings really mean nothing to some teams and I think that's right up Pioli's ally.

I don't recall New England going after hybrids in round one either with Pioli there. I recall offensive and defensive lineman most of the time.

Exactly, a lot of the times private workouts are too see things from players that they still have questions or concerns about. I don't remember the last player that Minnesota brought in for a workout that they actually drafted.
