I grade Aaron Maybin and a much better OLB in the 3-4 for then Brown. Many will probably argue against me, but I think Brown is more of a 4-3 end. Thus, I don't think Brown is a good fit for the Packers and Maybin is the rush OLB that the Packers needed. Although my mock doesn't reflect this, Everette Brown might not even go in the top 20. His stock is slipping.

I think Jacksonville passes of Sanchez. I think this is where a team my trade up with Green Bay to take Sanchez. I know you can't predict this, but either way I think Jacksonville take either Andre Smith or Jeremy Maclin.

Where is Ray Maualuga? He is a first round pick.

Everything else is very possible and its a pretty good mock. Nice.

I purposely left Rey Maualuga out of my mock draft. I think he could go in round one, but I don't think he's a "sure fire" first rounder anymore.

I think Everette Brown is definitely going outside the top 10 with Denver's first pick at 12 being his earliest slot.

I like Britton and Beatty, but I don't think OTs are going to go that high like they did last season. I know you see it as a trend, but I don't think it's set yet.

I don't like Freeman in the first round to the Jets either, although they have shown plenty of interest. Honestly, I think Freeman is going to go in the 20s at some point taken by a team that either trades down for him or moves up for him. Of course, Freeman might go before he's worthy because there's a big dropoff at QB after him. I really think he's going to end up a Buc.

Before I even saw this I said to myself.... Hm, ok maybe britton that high but not both him and beatty going that early. I could see one in the top 25 but not both. I also said thats a big reach for freeman. So I gotta agree with cubbs here. The Jets can probably land Freeman in round 2 IMO, and i think pat white might even be a better prospect. Freeman is terribly overrated and i disagree that hes a top 20 pick. More like top 50.

I don't think there is a chance Freeman will fall to round 2 or at least where the Jets pick. I think the Jets could move down and try to get him, but everyone knows Raheem Morris has a connection with Freeman. The Jets are one of the teams I actually believe would take him where they're slotted. I could see Tampa Bay moving down a few spots, but not very far. Freeman doesn't get a round one grade from me, but he's as a likely a round one pick as Joe Flacco was last year. Probably more and a lot of teams like his potential.

As far as the offensive tackles....

Sam Baker and Duane Brown went a lot higher than what they were supposed to go because good offensive lineman get over drafted. I actually prefer Britton and Beatty to both of those players. The only way I don't see both those guys going fairly high if if Michael Oher or Andre Smith end up dropping. If they drop then the others will be slotted later.

Freeman to the Jets in the first is a possibility. I think they stick with the guys they have but Freeman is definitley somebody they have shown interest in.

I dont like Larry English to the Giants. If they dont trade for a WR then I see them using their first round pick on one. Kenny Britt would be the guy if they stay pat with pick #29.

I think your getting too set on the theme of last year's draft. Every year there are different themes in the 1st round, and T was it last year. However I don't think it'll be the same this year. Britton is moving up boards, and I could see him going as high as Detroit at 20, but Beatty is almost certainly a 2nd round pick IMO.

With that said, I think SD has bigger needs than addressing their RT.

The NFL is nothing more than a copycat league. If you're evaluating talent and you think Baker and Brown are better than Britton and Beatty, then I understand the logic in thinking one or maybe both fall out of round one.

However, if you feel that both are better then chances are someone will either trade up into the late part of round one to take one or they'll just go higher than everyone thought.

It happens with offensive lineman a lot. I think Alex Mack could go a lot higher than people think too. Pitt may trade up. This is a deep lineman draft. If four guys go off the board in the top ten then Britton and Beatty will be coveted by teams picking later looking for a tackle.

You look at all the teams picking inside the top 13 and only Denver and Cleveland are probably not targeting a tackle. Buffalo probably will if they decide to trade Jason Peters to Philly for one of those picks and I think they might so you can't even rule them out.

That's a lot of options for four guys and it's why I think Britton and Beatty will have their stocks elevated by the later teams because they're the best options.

Hey guys long time. I'm originally from Kansas (reside in Texas now) and have alot of family and friends who attend Kansas State. I have the "pleasure" of meeting Josh Freeman during a trip of mine to visit and just from the 10 min I spent talking to him I can tell this guy is not going to be a good NFL QB. Honestly the kid seems dumber then a sack of hammers. I don't understand why he is so highly though of his career at K-State was mediocre at best.
