This is by far my least favorite mock you have done. There are just a ton of reaches throughout the first round.

Heyward-Bey is nice and I do like him now, but he's not a Top 10 pick. I personally think Percy Harvin is back to competing with him after his pro day. Scouts went nuts over Harvin at his pro day, much like they did with Heyward-Bey.

I don't like Stafford as much as the next guy, but the QBs are not going to fall that far. I've had to deal with it that right now the Lions are most likely to draft Stafford than anyone because of how much interest they're showing him. We'll know more after his personal workout with them at the end of this month.

CBs are too high. I think they take a dip about five spots for each of them. I do think four could still be taken in the first round. Alphonso Smith gets hype on this site, but he's too small. He's a late first round pick because of that. I would take Darius Butler, who along with Jenkins has the best man-on-man cover skills in this class, over him. Vontae still projects higher than Smith because of his size and athleticism.

Everette Brown wouldn't be an OLB with the Bills. He's not an OLB in the 4-3, at least not their version of it. He'd be a rush end and I have no problem with him there in that role. Forget about his height. He can play at end in a 4-3.

Same thing. I agree with Maybin to Green Bay, but he'll be an OLB, not DE.

I don't think Michael Johnson has worked him way into the mid-first.

I'll keep preaching this. Eagles go Moreno over Beanie Wells. "They need power." You will never hear Andy Reid say that and he'll hardly ever think it. Anyway, Moreno gives them more power than Westy, plus he fits in better with the pass-happy scheme they run and can eventually replace Westy.

Can't see the Pats going RB in the second round. They have signed more RBs for their platoon this season and seem content.

I actually like your second round more than your third. Only pick I really don't like in the second is Terrence Taylor. He's a late third-early fourth rounder.

Also, the Panthers don't have the second pick in the second round. The Pats do. The 50th pick belongs to Cleveland.

I think the Lions are zeroing in on Matthew Stafford. I don't agree with it, but that appears to be the case. I heard a report today that they're looking over film of him from High School.

Tank Tyler can play nose tackle for KC. I think they'd take Curry over Raji because of that. I also think Curry is a better prospect.

The highest I like Oher is No. 9, but even then I think he probably goes either to Washington or someone moves up.

I think Denver needs to look at a player that fits their 3-4 front seven OR a Quarterback.

I'd be shocked to see Shonn Green to go in round 2. I think he's a late 3rd round pick at best. Overrated in my opinion.

Workout-wise, Green simply isn't getting it done. I definitely agree he'll fall. I think he's going to be a good back, though. I love the way he runs and people are over-evaluating a 40 time with him right now. He's a tough runner with good vision, but he is definitely plummeting. Plus, other guys like Cedric Peerman, Rashad Jennings and Andre Brown are starting to surge.

I'm recanting what I said on Smith. Apparently the Lions are negotiating with several prospects and Smith is leading the way, according to reports released over the past couple days.

I think Stafford's attention from the Lions grabbed the most pub from the national media because he's a QB. Curry had a visit with the Lions earlier this month that went largely unmentioned. Same with Smith. I have no problem with Smith as a projection for No. 1 and honestly, it's the smartest pick the Lions could make. Although, don't be surprised if Curry or Raji emerge. Curry is being projected as a MLB by several scouts in the NFL due to his lack of experience rushing the passer in Wake Forest's 4-3 scheme. He would give Detroit one of the best LB corps in the league alongside Peterson and Sims. It'd be a trio with the potential to rival any in the history of the game.

San Fran is desperate for receivers, and so I put DHB there because his hype has been so big with his great workouts. Yea it is a reach but not by to much, only about by 7 picks cause people have no problem putting him to NY.

As for Maybin and Brown my bad... i 4got to switch the positions next to their name when i moved them from the last mock.. ure right and i meant to list them at the positions u said..

I dunno about philly goin moreno wells ran well and caught the ball well at his proday... I still think it can go either way

I forgot about the pats signing taylor... thatll get fixed..

and i put carolina because it seems pretty obvious that they are going to get that pick for Jpeppers... i no we rnt supposed to predict trades but thats what i did there. Cleveland at 50 was just a mistake.

Tank tyler i read is about 6'2 305... to me thats not nose tackle size, but maybe im wrong on the numbers?? If they bring in the 3-4 the nose tackle is the key component and so i think thats what pioli would do, but curry is definately possible. either way 3 and 4 will be curry and raji in either order if tackles go 1 and 2.

I like oher up there. I mean it seems pretty clear cincy will go OT unless raji or curry fall to them, and he's the next on the board. I personally like him as the third best tackle, so even if it is a bit of a reach i think it's worth it for cincy to pull the trigger n e way, or swap with jacksonville if they want crabtree.

Denver does need a nose tackle for the 3-4 but i think they can fill in the rest with what they have. They have DJ Williams and Nate Webster to play ILB, and Elvis Dumervil and Jarvis Moss to play the OLB spots, with Boss baily seeing action both outside and inside. Tim Crowder is big neough at 6'4 275 to add another 10 pounds and play DE, and they also have Marcus Thomas who goes about 295 to play 3-4 DE. At corner, Dre Bly and Champ Baily are both entering their 12th seasons, and the safeis for denver are terrible. Their Defense was 26th against the pass. Jenkins is the best DB on the board and could easily play nickel back before becoming a starter, or possibly start at free safety for them as he'd most likely be an upgrade over whatever they have. Its the best value out of what is left there for them IMO. As far as qb, theyll get one if cutler goes, the draft won't be their qb source.

I don't think that trade for Peppers is obvious at all. I actually think it was just a bad rumor that isn't all that likely. After all, it was Vic Carucci who reported the Pats and Panthers were close to a deal. How believable is Carucci? When Adam Schefter reports something along those lines, I'll trust it, but Carucci is not the kinda media I'd trust with insider information

Im not one who thinks the Jets will draft a QB in round 1 but they wouldnt pass on Stafford if he was there. I dont like the Harvin pick. The Jets D still needs work. Their D-Line is horrible with the exception of Kris Jenkins. They could look to go DE in the first. I could also still see the Jets going CB. Sheppard was crap last season and im not sold on Strickland and Lowery so if Sheppard struggles their going to be stuck where they were last year. A great CB in Revis but nobody to line up opposite him. If they drafted a guy like Davis he could play the Nickel as a rookie and be the starter if Sheppard doesnt revert back to is old form.

Moreno wont be there for Arizona to pick. He will go top 20. Somebody will take him.

I hear the Jets like Freeman so that pick is a possibility but the Jets are said to be really high on Ratliff and would like to get another look at Clemens as well so I could see them going D in the first (unless something unexpected like Stafford is there) and then take a WR in the second. They lack a legit number 1 WR and have for a long time.

Most of the other stuff has been brought up.
