i like it except I don't know that raji goes in the top 5. Top 10 i can see but hes yet to prove top 3 i think. I don't see KC goin DL anyway because of drafting Dorsey last year and also because of the holes all over. Although I didn't know they were switching to a 3-4... where did you hear this? In the case that they do then yea i'll admit maybe raji could go there, i mean i understand your argument, its just that the pick is iffy right now in my mind. I make my argument for crabtree to KC citing similair things to you in that it may not be the biggest need but its what they probably will do. What I have going for me more than you though is that crabtree is a top 3 player in the draft, and Raji isn't. So it's tough to buy right now but we'll see what happens.
I doubt the raiders will pass on crabtree, but you never know. Al davis really really wants to see Jamarcus Russell succeed, so he;ll do what he thinks is best for JRuss
Giants taking a guy like johnson concerns me a little. I don't know why they'd take him there. I don't disagree we'll draft a couple pass rushers and at least one DE, but I don't think round one. If a corner like Smith or Davis drops they could look there, as Webster might be better suited as a nickel, or other possibilities are guys such as clint sintim or even clay matthews. WR is a big area too with Toome rlikely gone and plax's future in question. With plenty of speed guys like Smith (who I think is way better than Hixon) and Moss on the roster a guy like Hakeem Nicks looks very enticing, because unlike Hixon he has awesome hands.
A lot of picks make sense. I like Cushing to houston now that Greenwood was cut.

mdrv, I think you were around a few years ago when everybody and their mom had the Pats taking a WR and the Broncos taking a RB in the first round, and every time I read a mock, in a sea of all my own ugly analysis, I'd just say simply "THE PATRIOTS WON'T TAKE A RECEIVER IN THE 1ST!" and similar for the Broncos... well I think taht applies to the Chiefs now.
I understand Todd Haley's success came with Fitzgerald, but neither he, nor Ken Whisenhunt was around when the team drafted Fitz.
Raiders haven't taken a receiver in the 1st since 1988.
I debated Britt to the Giants... I think the Giants have so many directions they can go, and so few real needs, that they'll be able to draft BPA. I like Johnson's potential, and I really think that the Giants will begin to see some drop off as guys like Justin Tuck an Mathias Kiwanuka begin nearing free agency, and potentially leaving.

lol not going to argue with you its just what I think and I will be the first person to say you told me so if i'm wrong, but still you didn't explain the raji pick anymore. Could you comment on that a litte more off of the stuff i said about him.
1988 huh? seems like theyre due then lol. I'd say the order of guys they go for are 1 crabtree, 2 offensive tackle, 3 jeremy maclin.
ok i c the argument for johnson to the giants... i wouldnt be upset. Personally I'd like to see an offensive tackle taken, or Harvin if he falls there.

B.J. Raji is a top 5 pick in my estimation and should be considered for No. 1. He's that type of prospect.
I consider him safe. I think he's the most dominant player, other than Crabtree, at his given position. Yes, there are some personality issues in his past, but that really seems to be behind him. I really do believe Detroit will consider him with the first pick overall.

I think the Chiefs need a NT if they switch 3-4, and don't have one right now. Thats the biggest thing.

Tank Tyler could probably play nose tackle for Kansas City.
I like B.J. Raji, but I don't think he'll go top five. You can argue he should and I would agree, but I think he probably won't. My guess is he falls in as high as six and as low as 12.
I think Michael Oher is not a top five pick, but we'll see. When do guards and right tackles go that high? Hardly ever. If Seattle takes him it'll be with the intention of having him be the franchise left tackle one day. If they don't think he can be that guy, they'll opt for Jason Smith or Eugene Monroe. I think both go before Oher actually, but I know Oher is one of your favorite players so obviously agree to disagree.
I think corner to GB is not happening. The mainstream media is all over that. Harris and Woodson made the pro bowl and Williams had four picks. Lee is a second rounder from a year ago. Packers really have to look at tackle, defensive line, and a pass rushing outside linebacker in my opinion.

I don't see a "Pioli guy" available at three. I think it could be a LT, if Pioli wants Albert at guard, Raji for the reason I stated, or because he's the best GM in the league IMO, he'll trade down, as he should.
Walter Jones is coming off microfracture surgery... I'm iffy on him in that respect, and he looked only above average when healthy.
My thought on Jenkins to GB, is that he'd probably either play safety til Woodson or Harris move on, or Woodson would move to safety permanently.
