Very nice

Im also thinking about McCoy for cincy...It's a good fit.

A little low for maualuga, but all your LB's fall, so at least its consistant with what you are doing.

I think Mays will work into the top 10

Agreed with a lot of your picks

Denver absolutly won't pass on Taylor Mays. Also, Denver didn't fire there main personnal. Goodman is still there and he made the majority of the draft picks, not Shanahan.

Marlon McCree (missed most of season), Marquand Manuel, Calvin Lowery, Vernon Fox, and Josh Barrett none of which have any ball skills. I know RB is a need, but safety ranks #1 on the list, and with the best saefty still available at #12, theres no way Denver will pass on him.

While I agree Mays is going to be targeted by Denver if he enters the draft, I disagree with you saying it's absolute. There are no absolutes in the draft with any team no matter how well one follows them. Anything could happen. Maybe the personnel staff sees something in Mays they don't like. It happens every year. I think Denver will take Mays there. You think Denver will take Mays there, but that doesn't mean they'll absolutely do it.

Agreed, but I wanted to make sure my opinion was heard here. The misconception that because Shanny is gone they is draft different isn't nessacerily true.

I'm kind of assuming Denver is going to spend some money in free agency this year on the defensive side of the ball. You can look top to bottom defensively and say they need help here.

I did consider Taylor Mays and I may project him there in April, but I put Knowshon Moreno there because I think they need stability at running back. They haven't had it since Clinton Portis.

Basically they can draft for needs or solidify their offense with that pick.

I mean Jay Cutler, Ryan Clady, Brandon Marshall, and Eddie Royal look like a nice nucleolus on the offensive side of the ball. What's missing is the back.

Jets- Love the player. Don't like the pick. The Jets need a pass rusher, WR, or even a QB. David Harris is one of the better young Inside Linbackers in the league. With Barton likely to not be resigned they need to add somebody to play there but I dont see them adressing that need in the first round of this draft. Not with guys like Maclin or even Michael Johnson still on the board.

In other news how could you say the Jets overacheived porky? They collapsed down the stretch in a division that had a team that was 1-15 a year ago and another team that lost their all world QB in it. The Jets underachieved heavily especially down the stretch.

I dont see Seattle going WR with that pick. They invested a lot of money into that posistion in recent years. There secondary needs upgrading and I think a guy like Jenkins is a better choice right now.

The only WR Seattle paid a significant salary to was Deion Branch. It's a huge need and Bobby Engram is a free agent. Crabtree is a special talent the 'Hawks would be crazy to pass on with the No. 4 pick.

It's not always about need when you're drafting that high. It's about value and the way Porky has the draft going, the Seahawks get maximum value for their pick and fill a need.

Realized I haven't critiqued the mock yet, but have countered a couple of objections.

As for the mock, this is good work for an early projection.

The main thing I disagree with is Maclin falling out of the Top 20, or Top 15 for that matter. I think he's going to fly up the charts. Maclin is a very underrated route runner. He's not a typical speed receiver. Many of Missouri's routes for him involved him going over the middle in traffic. I really feel like he'll test off the charts and once more and more film is watched, teams might grab him as early as the top 10. Could easily see Cincy, Oakland or San Fran nabbing him.

I personally prefer Cushing over Sintim. They're essentially the same LB,though. I just think Cushing has better instincts and will end up being faster. Both are good, versatile OLBs, though.

I prefer Unger over Mack. I do agree with you that both might be better than any of the OG prospects in this draft. However, Robinson fits Pitt's power run scheme to a tee. More so than Unger or Mack.

Burrelson signed a 7 year $49 million dollar deal with the Seahawks. He's still under contract so they are still paying him. Maybe they can clear some cap by cutting him but I dont know where they stand on that. Then they have Branch like you said. Now there gonna pay Crabtree a ton of money? I like Crabtree but I just think they have other needs right now.

If they got rid of Burrelson then I think they would draft Crabtree but that secondary needs help and with Burrellson and Branch on the roster I dont think they need to pour more money into the WR posistion.
