i still like Baker over Otah....
Not a fan of Talib, i dont even have him in the first, but top 15 is far too high
With the re-aggrivation of a previous injury, Sweed will likley have all kinds of red flags popping up, i dont see him in the top 20 right now
Chargers wont go DE in the first. With onyl one 1st day pick, the Chargers need to go RT or DB. With Smith, R-C, McKelvin and Cherilus available, i dont like the Merling pick. He is only there because of teh injury prone Castillo, i assume...other than injuries, Castillo is a top notch DE.
i don't see Gholston in the top 10, but i guess its feasable
Woodson had a horrible week of practices at teh Senior Bowl...Brohm is definitely before him now...I see Woodson out of the first right now...

Woodson had a horrible week at the senior bowl? He was the best QB there?

I personally believe Atlanta would take McFadden over Ryan, but it's not a bad pick either. It makes sense for obvious reasons. Just a slight difference of opinion there.
Realize Gholston would be an OLB with the Jets. He is a possible top 10 pick as well. I like Derrick Harvey more, but that's going to be an argument for months to come.
I think criticisms of Andre Woodson are unfounded. The rumor is that scouts are dropping him out of the first round, not based on his on the field performance or his natural abilities, but instead because of leadership qualities. They're saying he doesn't show enough fire and is too laid back at times. What?! Someone is being overly analytical. Now, I've had Woodson as the No. 3 QB in the draft for a couple months, but I have a hard time seeing him not being in the first round right now. A team will have a steal if it gets him in the second or third round. Woodson has been fantastic at the Senior Bowl. He's easily been the top QB there. It's sad that he's falling victim to the ridicule that he is.
I think the Bengals go with Ellis over Rivers. Ellis is also a need and he's the better prospect. He could easily go in the top 5. He's standing out at the Senior Bowl.
Talib not in the first round? Check on him again sommers. He's a top 3 CB in this draft and could contend for the top spot. He's got elite size and elite speed. He's a playmaker as well.
Sweed's Senior Bowl bothers me. I like him, but I don't think he'll be drafted that high. I still think he's a natural playmaker. Can't see him ahead of DeSean Jackson. Remember, speed kills.
I don't like the Texans taking an OT pick this year. Realize that Houston finished sixth in the NFL in sacks allowed. They were much improved this year. RB or CB is more likely.
Malcolm Kelly is this year's Revis for me. I'm not a big fan. I love his size and athletic ability, but his production is bad. He disappears at times and can struggle to get separation.
I also like Baker more than Otah, but both are first round picks.
I don't like Merling in a 3-4 defense. Interesting how his stock is soaring. I actually thought he was a guy I could spring on people in a couple of weeks. Damn Kiper putting him in the top 10. Actually gave the guy some hype. He's good, but not top 10 good. I think he could be a first round pick, though, but to a 4-3.
I don't like Cherilus in the first round. I think Chris Williams is a much better selection at OT. He's more athletic and can play LT or RT. I think Erin Henderson needs to be looked at heavily here. I love Henderson and see him as a first round pick.
No Mendenhall in the first round?

I like the feedback cubuffs. I agree that its stupid if Woodson is falling because of "leadership qualities". I can see him falling if it'd be mechanics, or completion percentage, but his leadership qualities have seemed good to me. Thanks for pointing Mendenhall out, I thought I forgot someone, and there we go. The Falcons pick is still based on the coin toss, so they could come out behind Oakland, which could prompt a trade up with Miami to get McFadden. I think Atlanta will pick up a veteran in the off-season, maybe McNabb, but as of now, Ryan fills a bigger need of franchise quarterback.
