Default The State of Oklahoma in 2010 Draft

The potential for the players enrolled in Oklahoma universities that are eligible to declare for the 2010 NFL draft is jaw-dropping. There could be 5 going in the top 10.

Everyone on that list, but English. I don't think Lewis will come out either.

I project Gresham, Bradford, Williams and McCoy in the top 10.

Granger has the talent, but he's got to prove he's got the right character.

Add some Oklahoma State love to the list as well with Russell Okung and Dez Bryant. Two more potential top 10 picks. RB Kendall Hunter is going to turn some heads, too.

The Big 12 period is going to put out an impressive crop.

Other high first round talents in the conference include Colt McCoy, Texas OT Adam Ulatoski, who I don't like much but is getting lots of love, Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh and Kansas WR Dezmon Briscoe.

Few are saying it now because everyone is still in love with the SEC. The SEC will be good, but not as strong as in years past. It's Florida and then lots of questions about every other team, although I think Ole Miss is the second best squad in that conference.

The Big 12 is the best conference in college football this year and they'll produce the most NFL talent in next year's draft. Texas and Oklahoma will contend and Oklahoma State is going to be this year's Texas Tech. Ok State gets Texas at home, too. Upset special that week!
