Default 'Skins pick

i'm having a lot of trouble predicting them. I have 4 OT's going before they pick, and so no other OT is worth pick 13. As a matter of fact, theres no one at a position they need at pick 13 left for me. Who do people have them taking at 13? Would they go maualuga anyone think? Do they risk Aaron Maybin, who IMO has fallen to mid to late first? I'm thinking of a scenario now...

Washington needs a pass rushing DE. Now, my beleif is detroit will not go qb with pick one. It's also my beleive after listening to Todd McShay that San Fran does not want to take a qb. Numerous sources say Mike Singletary wants to keep with Shaun Hill, and McShay says the niners front office isnt interested in spending the type of money a quarterback demands, especially the first one drafted. A scenario I see is washington trading out of 13 to 20 with detroit, and them taking stafford. Washington would then still get choice of Larry english, Michael Johnson, or Robert Ayers at pick 20.

I honestly can't figure out how else this would work out. If stafford drops past detroit at 1 and san fran at 10, do the jets take him at 17? or does tampa go stafford followed by detroit taking sanchez? and then who does washington take? help here guys, i got nuthing..

I don't feel like Maybin has fallen that far at all. He has a slower 40 time than expected but he's also bigger than expected. On film, he's the quickest DE off the ball in this draft and addresses Washington's biggest need.

I think you could also see Washington go Maualuga or even Cushing.

I've read conflicting reports from the ones your citing about San Fran and I buy that the Niners will spend on a QB. Why else would they court Warner as much as they did? He's going to cost more than a rookie QB. If they sign Warner, I think they're even more likely to take Stafford or Sanchez.

I think the Jets will nab either QB if one falls to them and I think either Tampa Bay or Detroit will get the second.

IMO, I'd rather the Skins sit on the pick and see what happens to be available but if they don't like what they see, I'd hope they trade out and pick up a few more choices. I think their choices look much better picking in the latter half of the first or anywhere in the 2nd.

That being said, I wouldn't mind them taking Maybin if he's available. They could use some depth in the secondary but that's less of a need now that Hall has signed and Horton played his ass off last year. So really, they need to focus on the DL and look for youth on the OL. In a perfect world, Orakapo falls to them and I'd be happy.

I think they need to focus on the offensive and defensive lines. I currently think Michael Oher is a good fit for them and I don't' think Oher is a top ten pick so that obviously makes things easier for me in my projection.

In your situation though you have Oher in the top ten, but what I think you're doing is playing up Aaron Maybin's fall in the draft way to much.

Maybin pretty much took himself out of consideration for a Cleveland or Cincinnati, but I think all the teams 9 to 13 would consider him.

He's heavier than we thought and he has the frame to bulk up more. He could probably play at 265 in a few years and rush the passer pretty well. I think Washington would have trouble passing on him if Oher is off the board.
