Top 3 prospects
With the knowledge now that the likes of taylor mays, sam bradford, jermaine gresham, and gerald McCoy all returning to school, it leaves the debate open as to who are the top prospects in the 09 draft. List your top three, with an explaination if you want, and where you think they'll end up drafted.

1. Andre Smtih
Guy is the best pure tackle in the draft. Minor character issues but he's got good size and footwork, and can run block as well as he pass blocks. He really doesn't have much of a weak spot to his game. I think his pass protection ability is second only to jason smith, but he more than makes up for it with his run blocking ability. Oher might be a better run blocker, but he is no where near consistant as Smtih, who is the total package.
2. Aaron Curry
Talk about versatility, the guy can play any linebacker spot in the 4-3 or 3-4. That really says something about his Athletic and playmaking abilities. A big hitter and is always around the football. There's usually not a picture of the end of a play on film where you don't see his body, something coaches love. Plays the run almost as well as he can get after the passer, yet still looks good in coverage.
3. Michael Crabtree
I don't think he's the second coming of larry fitzgerald, as many people do. That being said, hes got awesome size at at least 6'4, and maybe 6'5. His only weak area could come in separation and timed speed, but he's physical and does all the little things right. Runs great routes, can block down field, and just has a great feel for the game. Timing is awesome, always knows when to look back for the ball, and seems to trust his quarterbacks. I read somewhere that he's supposed to have the biggest hands of any WR in the past 10 years or something, not sure how true it is, but the guys got hands like a bear, they're huge. More importantly, he has one of the best set of hands in the draft, possibly second to hakeem nicks, but very well could be better.
At this point, I see Detroit goin Smith, St. Louis going Curry, and KC going Crabtree. It's my beleive though that these are the top 3 prospects.

1. Michael Crabtree - He's been my top player since the start of the season and I see no reason to pull him off now.
2. Andre Smith - He's a great pass blocker. His presence was missed terribly by Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. I don't think the suspension hurts him. From what's been released on it, it has to do with an agent contacting him. He was on his way out anyway. That shouldn't kill his draft stock whatsoever.
3. Aaron Curry - He's a fantastic prospect and constantly around the ball. There's no reason to not compare him to A.J. Hawk or any of the other recent LBs taken in the Top 10 in the past decade.

Mine are Crabtree, Oher, and Curry. I think Andre Smith is the college version of Flozell Adams.

Im not saying that these are the top 3 players in the draft, but I really think the top 3 RB's, McCoy, Moreno, and Wells, are REALLY being underrated. In my opinion all 3 RB's will be top 5 backs in the league in 5 years. Might be going out on a limb, but thats what I believe.

Flozell Adams is a Pro Bowl LT even with the false starts.
1. Andre Smith
