Default McFadden is good but....

Hey guys Im back! I dont know if you remember me but hey I just want to say something.. Darren McFadden is fast... no don't... but he is the single handly will be the most biggest mistake if he is drafted in the top 10. All my background I will give is this... Watch high light videos, all of his yards are straight line runs with maybe a cut or two. That won't happen in the NFL. Then watch a jonathan stewart video or Mendenhall video, they get hit but they get the YAC. McFadden will never win a championship because he will cost too much. And he is no where near Adrian Peterson, Peterson actually wants to hurt you when you tackle him; McFadden would rather run by you.

Whats wrong with trying to run by you?

I dont think thats a fair argument for saying his game won't transistion to the NFL. He's big and fast and that makes scouts drool over him. I dont think you can say for sure that he wont be able to run by people or that he wont be able to draw contact and keep going yet. We are just going to have to see what happens when he gets to the NFL.

I'm not very high on McFadden. If you watch the big plays he made in college he's more of a slasher than he is an "elusive" back. He doesn't seem to have the moves like a Jones-Drew. He certainly doesn't have the power to move the pile with those chicken legs of his. I don't think he'll ever be the elite back he's been hyped up to be. I think he'll have a ceiling like Willie Parker. Might turn out to be good but not worth where he was drafted and certainly not the guy you want to use in short yardage.

He's my pick for rookie of the year for three reasons.

1)A runningback almost always wins the award.
2)I think he'll get more carries than most of the other rookie backs in the league. So his yardage should higher than the other rookies. Most of the other rookie backs will be splitting time as the number two with the exception of Matt Forte. Forte's offensive line and overall surrounding talent are terrible. Probably the worst in the NFL now that Chris Williams may be out for the year with a back injury.
3)Most every other first round pick on offense was an offensive linemen. There's not much competition here and o-linemen never win the award. Sorry Jake Long.

Willie Parker was on of the best RBs in the league last year, I would definitely say he was elite. He may not get the tds, but easily makes up for it yardage.

And McFadden is like Reggie Bush, when used properly he can be a game changer, but he can't do it on his own
