Trades= Mock mess. Dallas, Detroit, Philly, Cincinatti & are the teams to watch.
This year will be the year of the Trade. Unlike other years this year there are several teams looking for partners to dance with. Here are a few possibilities.
Dallas trades one of their first round picks to Detroit for WR Roy Williams. Roy Williams will be in the last year of his contract and has stated that he would like to go back home to Texas. Dallas desperately needs another target to replace Glenn who by most accounts is finished.
Philly is ready to start over with a new QB and maybe a new coach. They have their QB of the future in place and it would be wise of them to start to build around him now. Trading MsNabb to Chicago would be a good move for both teams. Chicago gets a good veteran QB to match their veteran team and the Eagles get to restock their depleated WR and OL corpe.
Cicinatti and Miami look like good partners to me. Cicinatti needs a running game as well as some help up front on the DL. Trading down a fwe slots won't hurt Miami who needs to add youth to their old LB unit.
Miami may be even busier. Look for Parcells to make a trade with Dallas for LB Bobby Carpenter and/or TE Anthony Fazano. Miami could get a steal here just giving up a 2nd and a 3rd for Parcell's 1st and 2nd rounders of the 2006 draft.

more likely scenario.... Dallas trades both 1sts this year and 1st next year to miami for 1st OA pick, and pick McFadden. Miami uses it to get some more players than just one (a QB and DT this year).
McNabb wont be leaving Phily, not this year at least...
I agree that Cincy seems to be in good position for a trade, not to trade up, rather down, swap firsts and gain a 2nd from a team a few picks down (someone who wants Jenkins before NO gets him?)
Also look for SD to trade their first this year. Although there may be a OT and a DB available in good position this year with their pick, AJ Smith is notorious in his effort to draft the players he wants, regardless of draft position (see Luis Castillo, Nate Kaeding, Buster Davis, Eric Weddle and Anthony Waters). With only one 1st day pick (maybe a second if Donnie Edwards is deemed worthy of a 3rd round comp), Smith may need to trade down to get the amount of players he wants (versatile DB, pass-blocking RT, 300+ lbs NT).

Dallas trading a first for Roy Williams is wishful thinking for someone that might love the Roy from Texas. Dallas needs depth and youth at that position, not a player that will command a hefty salary. I don't see that trade happening in anyway. If Roy wants to come home to Texas, which I haven't read or heard, then Houston would be a more likely suitor.
I also don't feel the Cowboys trying to trade up for McFadden. I don't see them surrendering that much for one player when they'd be fine getting a player like Mendenhall or Stewart later on. So it's the Arkansas ties that makes Jerry Jones do it? Felix Jones is from Arkansas too and Dallas could get him with their later picks.
McNabb trade talk has died down, but don't be surprised if it picks back up closer to draft day.

I don't see Dallas making a play for McFadden or McNabb being traded. Sound like wishful thinking to be honest.

The thing is with trades. The "likely" trades, that make all too much sense, rarely ever happen, while trades no one expects happen all the time. Like who would have ever predicted NY Jets to trade up with Carolina, or Denver and Jax to switch spots. Or Cleveland to move into the first switching with Dallas. And the year before, who would have thought that Denver would be the ones to trade with St Louis to grad Jay Cutler @ 11, or that the Browns and Ravens would switch one spot for apparently no reason.
This is the reason predicting trades is just stupid. There is way more that goes into trading players than people think, and it isn't just as simple as Team A needs a WR, Team B has a WR that wants to be traded! Taddaaaa.

Jerry Jones has already gone on the record stating that he would rather have a proven commodity to come in and play WR rather than drafting one that might not see the field that much in his first year. By the way Roy Williams is not old.
Philly might hold onto McNabb but he and his famiy want out of the "city of brotherly hate". The majority of the ticket paying fans hate McNabb.
Trades are a crucial part of the draft and need to be considered when you are formulating your mocks. You may not like it but it is what it is.
Cincinatti dosen't need to trade down they need to move up or stay pat. McFadden would make the offense and defense a lot better.
Picking the position ie. LB, WR etc. that a team will select should be judged on this sight because last year a number of people were effective in judging what position was needed by a team but did not get the particular player correct.

I haven't called for any trades in the past but that is precisely the reason I am this year. Trades can change through your mock out of whack.
This year I will stick to my guns and I will not succomb to tyranny of the majority (See Alexis Tocheville). I remember how I was attacked for saying that the Vikings would take A. Peterson and subsequently I changed my final mock.

Show me where Jerry Jones has stated that. I've heard nothing of the sort on Dallas radio or through any other form of media. No one has mentioned anything like that.
