First Day Best and Worst
I gave out 6 A's for the 1st day.
Carolina
Cleveland
Atlanta
San Francisco
Minnesota
New England
Minnesota and New England are A-'s, but the top 4 gets A's to A+'s from me. I love Carolina and Cleveland's drafts the most. I can't decide which one had the best. I'd probably give the edge to Carolina because they didn't sacrifice anything to get the players they did unlike Cleveland who surrendered the better part of their draft to Dallas. Maybe that's why I like their draft so much. Atlanta did a great job of getting good value at every pick. San Fran really impressed me. I like Staley's value where they got him. That's actually the highest I thought he should go...pick 28. Hill and McDonald are great contributors in the 3rd round. Minnesota also got great value from their picks. They maximized the talent they were getting for each pick. New England gets an A from me. I give the Meriweather pick a B, but I love how they secured yet another 1st round pick next year from San Fran. Bellichick loves 2nd day picks and he has 9 of them now.
I handed 3 F's for the 1st day.
Tennessee
Oakland
Chicago
Tennessee reached badly for Griffin and Henry. Paul Williams is a solid pick, but they reached like crazy on day 1. Oakland did okay addressing needs, but I don't like the players they got to address those needs. Moses and Henderson were probably the two worst picks of the 3rd round. I'm fine with Russell, but I think Davis should've considered Calvin Johnson or even Joe Thomas. I didn't really punish their grade for that though. I think they drafted Miller much too early. I feel similarly about the Bears draft. The Olsen pick was an absolute steal. They got a 100 from me on that grade. They did nothing to address the age on their OL though and Michael Okwo is not going to replace Lance Briggs. Dan Bazuin might've been the worst pick of the 2nd round. I don't understand why they need another DE and I definitely don't think Bazuin is worth a 2nd round pick.

I liked how Dallas drafted. They got Spencer and they got a first for next year from Cleveland which will probably be a top 15 pick itleast IMO. Cant say the Browns made a bad trade though because they got Thomas and Quinn who some consider the best QB in that draft. Carolina did good as well getting Beason and a big steal in Jarett.
Being a Jets fan i'm going to comment on their draft. They did a good job IMO. They got Revis who some considered to be the best CB in the draft and they got Harris who was rising up draft boards into the late first round. You also got to remember the Thomas Jones trade as being apart of this draft which was a good upgrade for them a RB.
I also liked the Rams draft because they got Carriker who is going to be a force for them and Leonard is going to give that Offense a whole new look. The Rams got a big steal in him. He is a physical freak who is going to be very good in the passing game. Cant say the Lions did bad either because they got the best player in the draft and Drew Stanton who i beleive is the third best QB in the draft and i think he could be better then Quinn as well.

I think by far Carolina did the best. Atlanta is a close second. Every player Carolina picked in the first day could have been a 1st round pick. Plus Tim Shaw and CJ Wilson were great steals in the 5th and 7th rounds respectively.
I was very satisfied with the Vikings draft. Peterson was a little disapointing, i was actually rooting for either a trade down, or a huge surprise drafting Patrick Willis. But Peterson is still a good pick, if he does well, Chester Taylor could be a solid trade option in next couple years. Plus with Peterson, the viks now have the best trio of rbs in the league. I loved the Sidney Rice pick, ive been rooting for that since day 1. Marcus McCaughley, Brian Robinson, Aundrae Allison, and Rufus Alexander were all great value picks, although i would have like H.B. Blades better than Alexander at that point. The one bad thing was that I don't even know who Tyler Thigpen is. But w.e. he's a 7th round pick. I'm also glad to prove KC wrong, the vikings had a chance at Brady Quinn and they passed on him like i said

I think that San Francisco and Cleveland had the best drafts. The Titans were the worst.

I loved Carolina and Arizona's drafts. Panthers got 4 very solid players in Jarrett, Kalil, Charles Johnson and Beason. Arizona filled their biggest need nicely with Levi Brown, and got an absolute steal with Alan Branch. They also got Buster Davis, and got another huge steal with Ben Patrick in the 7th
F's:
Miami
Tennessee
I had a very hard time trying to figure out what these 2 teams were thinking
