Is It Just Me, Or.....
Did a lot of teams make really bad decisions. There were a lot of picks that really made me stop and ask myself "What the hell are these people thinking???"
Dont even get me started on the Jets. It's honestly a really good thing I left to go see one of my favorite bands and was able to take my anger out in the mosh pit lol. I would have broken a lot of stuff in my house

I didn't think the Jets draft was that bad. They don't have a lot of picks left but they got 2 starters out of day 1. The lions got a the best WR in the draft then traded Mike Williams for peanuts and preceded to draft 2 late 3rd round picks in the late 2nd. Good players, but we'll have to wait and see about all these guys.

I know a lot of people would say the Chargers had a bad day but I think they did pretty good. Davis was very underrated in this years draft and is exactly what the Chargers needed, although Weddle might have been there at their original selection I think the Chargers did the right thing and didn't take a chance although they did give up a heck of a lot, and my favorite pick was Waters who could very well be the steal of the draft. Had Waters not gotten injured this year many people had him going in the first round and he was a preseason All- American for a lot of people. Great first day for the Chargers in my opninion.

I don't understand this. I think Johnson was a great pick, especially when combined with a trade of Mike Williams. Stanton isn't my favorite choice, but is not a bad 2nd round choice. The two defensive players should play well in the system...

think about it, SD really only gave up comp. picks. They gave up a 3rd and 5th this year, not the comp picks they had, but they still have a 3 and 5. Next year teh will likely get a 3, maybe only a 4, based on DOnnie Edward's play this year...not that much, but i agree a little much...

i don't get why the murtyle isn't happy with the lions picks either. sure stanton has some problems with the way he throws the ball but he has good awareness and martz can teach him the rest in the next 3 years or so. we don't even have to say anything about calvin johnson...great choice, only choice

Really because i was very happy with the Jets first day. They trade one of their picks for Thomas Jones who is a huge upgrade over Barlow, Blaylock, Houston, and Washington. Jones and Washington will be a very good RB tandem.
Darell Revis has been considered to be the best CB in the draft by a lot of people. Some say Leon Hall but i trust Tannenbaum and Mangini did their homework and know what there doing there. Revis is a good cover corner who is also a huge upgrade over Dwight as a Punt Returner.
David Harris was a steal in my opinion. Many people had him rising up draft boards late and going in the first round. He will be a good fit in the 3-4 as an ILB and he will help our run defense. They still need a NT but you cant fill all your needs in one draft or on the first day.

Tennessee had a bonehead day 1.
1. Reach of for Griffin
2. Huge reach for Chris Henry
3. Paul Williams - not a bad pick but with all the value at DE in this spot (Johnson, Robison, Moore) that would be the way to go.

I am a lions fan and i am happy about who they picked. I think murtyle was hoping for a trade but i heard that detroit wanted to much for that pick. Johnson, Williams, Furrey as the top three recievers and Kitna this year then Stanton for years to come that is a scary offense. Yeah, Stanton has problems but most rookies do and those can be fixed that's why they sit the first year. Two solid picks on defense in the second round as well that will help.
