Cowboys trading pick.
I've never been one to agree with Neon Deion....but he is completely right, why would you trade within your division. So that a divisional opponent who you will play at the least twice a year (not counting playoffs) can get stronger. Makes no sense.

Exactly who are you talking about getting stronger? Dallas with Spencer or the Eagles by aquiring more picks? This looks like a good trade for both teams if you ask me.

It would be a good trade for both teams if they didn't play each other....but since they do; Philly has given a team they play twice a year the opportunity to get stronger with that pick.....it makes no sense. I hope Spencer turns out to be great and woops the Eagles ass twice each year for a decade.....stupidity.
The only way the eagles get the better end of this is if the players they get with the 36,87, & 159 are not equal but better than what the Cowboys got.

Haha, I would say it if there were any Philly fans in here too. Understand that my view point is unfair, because your fans are more publicized, and far more visible on draft day. The average Jets fan would put the average Seahawks fan to shame, and that is not saying much.
At the place I work, the two biggest sports fans are me, and the guy who operates the machine I am the asst. on. Alot of times when there is big sports news, our machine is frequented by alot of people who have a self professed, but apparently passing interest in sports. Today, a guy came up to our machine and asked "What do you think about the Darrell Jackson trade", I explained how I thought it was poor value, and that Randy Moss could have been aqcuired for the same 4th round pick, and that it really makes the 1st rounded traded for Deion Branch look terrible, He responded with (no shit) "Ya, we had enough runningbacks anyways".

Haha. I come across situations like that all the time. One that stick in my mind is this story:
Towards the end of the season the Patriots were playing the Jaguars. At this point the Jets were in a very tight race with Jacksonville and Cincinnati for the Wild Card. I was at Applebees and had my Jets jacket on (as always) and some guy at the table behind me was like "Yeah, Jets baby!" I smiled at him and said "Sunday is the only time I will ever root for the Patriots in my lifetime. Hopefully they help us get in" He looked completely confused and spent a full minute trying to figure out what I was talking about. Finally I explained to him that New England was playing Jacksonville, and we were tied with Jacksonville. He says "Oh, we have a shot at the Playoffs?"
