Packers take Harrell

Hey, im happy to see this one. The packers reached very hard on him, they could have had a much better DT in Alan Branch. I like Harrell but his value is no where near #16. This pick makes me happy as a Vikings fan.

I agree they could have gotten him lower but he is a very good DT and probably would have gone in the 20's anyway so it's not a bad pick.

I actually like this pick for the Packers. I like Harrell better than Branch. If Harrell wasn't hurt this year he would've been picked a lot higher.

You hit the nail on the head. I know everyone is saying the he would've been taken higher, but he was incredible before the injury. He dominated in the Cal game before he got hurt. I think this pick could turn out very well for the Pack. I am surprised that teams did have him graded this highly though.

I would of preferred a trade down but again I echo what you and Michael said. Had he stayed healthy he would've probably went in the top 20 of the Draft.
