Default Double Drafted

As we all know, Jeff Samardzija chose to play in the minors with the Cubs instead of going to the NFL where he wouldve probably been a 1st rounder. We also know of quite a bit of players who have chosen baseball and gone back to football: Drew Henson and Bo Jackson most notably (also technically, Deion Sanders). My question is, will Samardzija still be drafted? If so, what round? and are there any other players out there that have followed the same path as Jackson and Henson that I dont know about?

I don't think anyone will draft him. He has already showed scouts were his heart is and that wouldn't be a good move IMO to draft him.

I definitely think a team will draft him in the late rounds. Maybe as early as the 5th round.

He'll get drafted and signed, just incase in the next 4 years he decides to play football again, that team will have the rights. It'll be a late round pick, probably 6th or so, and the signing will be small w/ a large incentives package if he ever plays.

Some team in the 6th or 7th round will draft him.

Indy and Baltimore seem to have comp picks at the end of every round. I know they don't, but they do have them in most rounds. I wouldn't be surprised if either of them too Samardzija starting in the late 5th round.

I'd say he'd go in the late 7th round.

That's my feeling as well.
